This is like a mix of contemparory with bharatnatyam ( the original temple dance done for the goddesses inspired from them) mudras , odissi, a little of the belly dancing ...etc etc.. and it's a remix of the traditional ...any art is to be appreciated

They are not in a seductress form . If you are talking about carvings in temples then the main goddess within the garbagriha( inner sanctum) is in a divine form , in either the Abhaya mudra or ashirvad pose . It is only the outer part of the ancient South temples you see dedicated to art . Here it is not goddess but the court dancers that are shown posing in dance movements . Sometimes it is the queen herself like queen shantala , wife of Hoysala king Vishnuvardhana , she was a dancer and her sculpted her dancing figures in outer part of temples . Not within . You see such temples in south India .during Hoysala , chola and Pallava period . Don’t compare our Devi’s with the dancer in the video . There is no comparison with divinity .She is a good dancer appreciate her but no need of misrepresenting.

The dancing figures are only carved in the outer walls not in the Garba graha ( inner sanctum) . They form the outer decorum of the temples and they depict the court dancers not Godess . This is the norm in South Indian temples . In fact in some temples you even get to see the cravings of the Queen , like shantala wife of king Vishnuvardhanna of Hoysala dynasty , she is a dancer herself and used to perform in temples . The goddess are seen as divine mother or energy forms . They are not given a seductive image .

The Devi ‘s or Shakti tradition of India is unique and represents powerful energy forms and they are revered as divine mothers not seductress. So don’t confuse apsara carvings and Devi ( goddess ) of India . The dancing figures you are talking are the depiction of apsaras /court dancers. I do visit most ancient temples and learn about them by the pujaris or the ASI members present there . So don’t create false impressions . People will not tolerate a Durga mata or Shakti being compared here with a dancer . She is a great dancer, appreciate her art . No need for comparison were it doesn’t exist .
