Season 2 was so hard for me to watch at times because my poor, precious baby Fitz...I just wanted him to be happy the entire time but he was so sad and broken. Talk about amazing character development though, I think Fitz has some of the best in the show. Definitely my favorite character by far.
xxBlackLolitarose I saw an article of an interview where joss whedon said it would be pointless to bring Coulson back into the movies. After watching that I hate him directing marvel movies now. Also I freaked when I thought fitz was stabbed in the season finale! I almost cried. That was a horrible 2 hours. so sad :(
My opinion on Joss is pretty neutral. I understand his opinion on Coulson but I do wish he would have included the show. The good news for you is that Joss Whedon won't be directing any more of these films so maybe the new directors will include Coulson? It's a longshot but hopefully. And yes, the finale was absolutely stunning and I was so proud of my boy Fitz.
I think he was right. Bringing people back from the dead is a stupid ass idea. I know it happens in the comics, but that doesn't mean you should do it in the MCU. What happens when everyone realise nobody really die? Death and life lose value. "I must destroy that ***, but I will surely die! ...oh well, I can't die!". We need Marvel to raise the stake, we are never really afraid of losing one of our heroes, I know this is no Game of Thrones, but I think it would add a layer or epicness to the movies...
I’m not even gonna blame the onion ninjas this time. I’m crying genuine tears and I can’t seem to stop, Grant had a hard childhood but it is inexcusable to do this. When you think of it, even in previous episodes, Fitz had a fear of being useless, which is why he always tries to help and was upset when he couldn’t save Simmons from jumping from the plane. And now he feels useless and the team is just letting him. Simmons leaves him triggering his other fear which is a fear of change and he just crumpled. Dammit, I still can’t stop crying.

I keep watching this on repeat!! I nearly know the song off by heart!! Fitz's story is the saddest he starts off so innocent😢. He is getting better though so that's good!

Erin Well in this case I must respectfully disagree. ^^ There's a lot of ways one can prove that Simmons deeply cares for Fitz. For one, she always takes care of him - like when she jumped from the plane, went against orders to help him in ep7, risked her life to save him in the finale. If you've seen the newest episode you'll see we have even more proof now. I was very happy with that episode. Simmons didn't leave Fitz because she wanted to but because her being there makes him worse. She wants to do anything to help him but in reality the best thing for him is for her to be gone (or so it would seem). ^^ Not to rant or anything. I just enjoy talking about these two. I for one will stand with Simmons until the end (and hope you can come to forgive her.) : )
