The Octain recrip battery connection is very different (though backward compatible). I remember an x4 kit with two 4.0 batteries for $200 long ago. Then there was a brushed Gen5x recrip, which was very similar to the x4 for the 4 tool kit. I don't remember a brushless between those and the Octain. Also it looks like the heat gun doesn't get the LSA, just the standard 3 year.

i heard ridgid is coming out with a new octane hammer drill that has 1300 inch lbs torque....the new milwaukee is only 1200...not a big difference but they are competing...ridgid is made by TTI...and milwaukee is owned by TTI...i am a big ridgid fan #teamridgid !
TOOL BOSS like I saw it and then all of a sudden they took it out. Like I just need that one tool I don’t want to pay separate for both when it equal as much as me buying a bigger brand. Hopefully it comes back.

Yea torque doesn't mean its compatable with a premium brand ...ryobi also has high torque numbers ...
I’m still waiting for the Ridgid Impact wrench gen5x with the battery.

Na ..its not a ridgid or ryobi battery made different..also charger is $70 alone ..also have option to get 9ah in a kit ..👍
