sound great and I don't compliment cymbals easily. Bell is a bit understated but that's the rule rather than the exception for this type of cymbal these days
@jaypebeats hey brother, this one is already sold. Other cymbals are on the website www.alexinocymbals.com Also I do custom work, if you're interested I can make another one in this manner. Love and peace Alexino
@jstaruk2 thank you, this video is meanwhile some years back. I'm working a lot on my grip and my left hand buddy technique begins to work pretty good, same for my tony ride technique. Also I'm workin a lot on moeller as well as Murray Spivack's technique and a lot of viennese classical "hochrainer" technique, which is pretty much ident to buddy's grip on the right hand...played with 3 fingers, without the pinky. Much love and peace and thanks for checking out. ❤️🙏🏼
@user-ii8rq8zo2o i never thought I would say, but my pronounce is he/him.🤣 I'm a single motherf... there's no they... All them cymbals are balanced to the maximum and are playable with or without rivets. If you don't like rivets, it's up to you... Elvin always played a cymbal ruined with rivets..🥴😅
By they, i ment the cymbal makers. Even if its balanced, the rivets weigh down the cymbal and mute it, like if you tossed meinl drum honey on a cymbal. Even if you take the rivets out, the holes are still there. Almost all cymbals from the 30s and 40s have rivets and i would have liked to hear them without.
@user-ii8rq8zo2o , you're right... if the holes are drilled after the cymbal is done it's affecting the tension. That's why I drilled the holes while the cymbal ain't finished, to integrate them in the overall tension. Like that you don't loose any kind of sustain . With the muting of the rivets, you're also right, but some people love it. I'm one of them. Still, because the rivet holes are well integrated, it's not affecting the sound or cover up some bad overtones. I made some newer videos where you can listen to the cymbal without and with rivets. 🙏🏼❤️
@user-ii8rq8zo2o much love to you my brother! Obviously you don't have any idea either of cymbals or of jazz music, but it's ok to tell your opinion. I'm just wondering why you're acting so important, and getting also that nasty, must be a reflection of your life condition That's why, much love to you my brother, you seem to need it. 🙏🏼❤️
Great cymbal, alot of ping and just the right amount of wash. Good sounding bell as well.
This is excellent! 🎉
Good playing, man!
Great sounding kit.
Excellent old school bass drum sound.
Absolutely killing, both drumming and cymbal 🔥 that intro
Really nice playing, very authentically Elvin-esque! The bell sound is right on!
That cymbal sounds beautiful. Nice drumming as well. Some of Elvins "speak no evil " vibe coming through 😉
Spot on
Beautiful
Great playing, I wouldn't mind a 22" version of this perhaps

Shame they ruined these cymbals when they put rivets on them. Woulda been cool to see what they sounded like naturally
