I am working in Lidar and I think the best way is use multispectra like at night we use painting with ultraviolet and use IF to read. During the day we pain with Ultraviolet spectrum and use infrared spectrum to read
how you get the vertical position of the radar detection box, as far as I know, radar only returns point locations on the horizontal plane.

I think they're using the MMWCAS-DSP-EVM & MMWCAS-RF-EVM combo to derive radar stuff with that kind of resolution.
