Assuming Tension adds a ton more problems this year-What’s more fun to climb on for a v7 climber: Tension 2 or Kilter Homewall? (On an 8 x 10 homewall)
I still choose tension...the wood holds and variety of holds in general really adds a lot to the climbing...and don't quote me but I believe with the tension board 2...you can have Two different board layouts with just One hold set so you can change it up periodically...at least for the 12x12 wall I know that's a thing.
Not that the kilter would get necessarily "old"....more that all the problems kind of fall into the same category. But with the tension even with the lack of problems I found a good amount of variety with them that was a bit more "beta" intensive as opposed to obvious "left, right, left."
2:28 I think one of the biggest issues was that your 12x12 TB2 was on the spray layout, while the mirror layout on just V7 has nearly 2000 climbs. I'm not sure why Tension Board decided to fracture their community like this, especially since system boards really live or die by their community, but if you can convince your gym to re-set their TB2 to mirror, you'll have WAY more climbing. I think the community collectively decided to move to mirror layout and let the spray layout kind of die a slow quiet death haha
wood...WOODEN holds are my belief for a good spray wall set honestly. Besides that...that's it. a good overahang of at least 40-50 degrees and ur good. Honestly I think a short and wide climbing wall is better than a tall and narrow climbing wall just so that you don't have to use a ladder to reset or set up holds. Which is rather convient and this also makes the falls less risky.

Hey buddy nice video! Does the TB2 have any good small crimp holds? They all look fairly large
they got some pretty heinous crimps, 9-14 mm they do have
