I had a misscarriage. I lost My baby, because I got sick. it was awful, but even in that moment, where I felt that one part of my heart was gone, I prayed to God, thanking him and praising him. Allí I tought was, "I will sing to My lord" "I will give a sacrifice of praying, I will, even one tears worship you, because you are with me"
My Lord is always there, it doesn't matter what happens. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes My soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake (psalm 23:2-3)
i recently had a second miscarriage too, and right after that, my brother in law died. This has been a tough period and the song really seems to speak out of my heart.. i am empty but yet so in need of the Lord.. i am so glad this song speaks of me much more than what i am showing or not telling..
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually,
that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. (Hebrews 13:15) We are made by the process that He allows to pass. I don't know why it happened, but He is in control. It really IS difficult to worship him in pain, but is also the best praise, with the scarred heart, and His voice that soothes our soul...
