Hand feeding for beginners.
Hand feeding baby birds is only a substitute for parent-raised birds, but it does have certain advantages. The hand-raised baby usually makes a better pet, as it has been completely socialized with humans. Hand-raised babies grow up with no fear of humans or other potential dangers such as cats, dogs and young children. Hand feeding is a huge responsibility and requires time, patience and a complete commitment. The little bird in your care is entirely reliant on you for everything. Hand feeding is a job best left for the experienced bird breeder or aviculturalist.

hello if cerlac is not good for them can u recommend an easy formula to buy or make? I have three baby love birds there parents give them food so i am not that worried but one of them doesn't seem to be given enough food compar to her siblings so i was thinking of giving her food myself. Cerelac has milk in it so it is not safe to give to a bird. Birds do not have the ability to digest lactose,

2 to 3 weeks will be a good start to handfeed them and you should feed the chicks every 3 hours or if they are hungry.

You should buy powder meant for baby birds in pet stores. Certain parts of human diet aren't healthy for chicks and I'm not sure if Cerelac lacks anything they'd honestly neef

Nope! Completely good for them! I have two bonded lovebirds which i hand raised 3 years ago ..i used cerelac 🌝 now they're active strong basically a normally bird! Plus they've been having eggs recently and im hand raising 2 of their chicks now 🤧
