I worked in assisted living for a while, knowing this song is about his grandfather with Alzheimer’s just makes it hit me that much more because I think of the residents. I hope they know that even though they may and eventually probably will forget me, they’ve had a lasting impact on me and I won’t forget them.

I hope..

I learned more from that man in 16 years then me biological father could have taught me in a fn lifetime. This song really pulls at my soul. 😥
