Great video of a relatively obscure time in Blackfoot’s history. Thanks. FWIW, my personal show history with Blackfoot includes the Marauder tour in Pittsburgh in 1982 (with Def Leppard opening on their High N Dry tour), either 1984 or 1985 in Pittsburgh when they toured with Molly Hatchet and had Bobby Barth in the band (after Ken Hensley had gone), and one last time at a very small club in Myrtle Beach in 1986 when they were, well, at what seemed to be a pretty low point.
This is the " Medicine Man " album line up .Got to see them Lee Co. Fl. 1989 . Neal Casal : Guitar /vocals , Rikki Mayr :Bass , Gunner Ross : Drum's . RICKEY MEDLOCKE : LEAD VOICE : LEAD GUITAR . This is great bring back memories .........a lil' .
I seen Ricky in a small club in ATL back 95 rt before he joined skynerd. He had that same crazy n wild drummer its a great show even tho Ricky was the only original. He was cool after the show he changed cloths n came out n joined everybody n was talking n taking pics.he said something big was about to happen. I knew it was him joining skynard. But I didn't say nothing. N no time it happened. The rest is history. Love Ricky m......
Always been a huge Skynyrd freak especially with the one and only Allen Collins. I actually think Blackfoot and Molly Hatchet are more exciting bands, and have a slew of better, faster tunes. Medlocke kicks ass! A wild southerner I can relate to. Long live the beautiful south, confederate flag and all!
I also saw them in a small club in NY, fantastic. You can tell the energy level here is awesome. I love the original lineup, but there guys were bringin' it! How'd you come to record this??
RM mentions before “Stealer” that it’s a song from their upcoming new album, so it hadn’t been released yet, obviously. He was trying to build hype for the Medicine Man album and rebuild the Blackfoot band and brand at the time. They sound good, but we know now that the music industry had moved on.
Lifelong BLACKFOOT fan. Real Mojo and FREEDOM fighters
This was the last great version of Blackfoot.. Rickey, Gunner Ross and the amazing late Neal Casal...

The bassist from the band Intimate Acts, which was a circuit band that played the Rock-it often, later joined Blackfoot.
