Si estan interesados en jugar puedo ayudarlos para que corra como a mi en Windows 10 x64. Es mas, si quieren puedo subir el juego para que lo descarguen, cualquier cosa me lo ponen en los comentarios.

How to play the game - Como jugar:
English.
1. Extract the rar and you will find the folder "Fifa98 Road to the World Cup" and nGlide setup file.
2. Fist Install nGlide
3. Once nGlide is installed on your pc, you can configure the software or left the default configuration.
4. Now go to "Fifa98 Road to the World Cup" and you have the entire game with videos and music. Search the file "PatchInstall", do double click and wait. This open a configuration compatibility for the game, you need this patch for play on win10 64.
5. After this you'will able to play the game without any problem, just remember to open the game with "FIFARTWC.exe" file.
6. Have fun.

1. Extraer el archivo rar y van a encontrar la carpeta "Fifa98 Road to the World Cup" y el ejecutable del programa nGlide.
2. Primero instalen nGlide
3. Una vez que nGlide esta instalado en su pc, puden configurarlo o dejar la configuracion como viene por defecto.
4. Ahora, meterse en la carpeta "Fifa98 Road to the World Cup" y van a encontrar el juego completo con sus videos y musica. Busquen el archivo "PartchInstall", hagan doble click y esperen hasta que se instale. Esto abre una ventana de compatibilidad, necesitan esto para jugar en windows 10 64.
5. Despues de esto el juego tendria que correr sin ningun problema, solo tengan en cuenta que deben abrir el juego desde "FIFARTWC.exe"
6. Diviertanse.

Con este juego pude conocer a los jugadores de la selección peruana de ese año como Baroni, Carty o Julhino.
Teníamos buena selección, lástima que no se clasificó al mundial del 98, ese partido en Santiago.....

I let my 8 years old son to play it and he though this is better than FIFA21
also i love fifa 21 with improved mods in pc version but the AI in the greatest old soccer game is a trash
in those times because in the 90s or the early of 2000s make a poor AI that can defense and win in a weird way
It is more fun indeed. New football games are not about having fun, but try to make boring, pointless, ridiculous simulation attempts. It's about fun; they've loose the way many years ago.

This is brilliant. Thank you for this. Have you thought about modding the Fifa International Soccer on Genesis/Megadrive? That would be so easy to mod and you could add lots of nations.

Hi man! I use nvidia experience (shadowplay) or obs studio for recording, and avidemux or kdenlive for editing, and that's all.

Hola! muchas gracias. Ese problema sucede cuando queres iniciar el juego sin nglide. revisa los pasos que puse en la descripcion y asegurate de haber instalado bien nglide y despues de iniciar el archivo "PatchInstall". Lo juego en win 7 y 10 ambos x64 y corre sin ningun problema. Saludos!

Thanks to you, I'm so glad you can enjoy this great game. Sorry man but you can't change voice language. It was hard to make this repack version ready to run, and i'm only had found the english version (i mean, for voice/commentarist).

I remember the videos not having any stupid scanlines. But back then I used to play on ddraw mode. I wonder why with nglide/3dfx the videos have scanline? It looks dark, is there any fix?
Hi, is not problem of nglide/3dfx, is about resolution. The game resolution at that time was 640x480, and keep in mind that nglide is trying to put out a widescreen or whatever resolution you use, that's the reason for the "stupid scanlines". Not mention about the OLD video codecs running in a modern OS too. Thanks to nGlide the game works, it's the only way. You want to fix that, well, go to nglide configurator on your pc, and leave the "screen resolution" option, By app (default). Done, that's the only solution man. Have fun.
@@MyRetroLair that's weird. I already had the resolution to default, so it was already running at 640x480 but still showed the scanlines.
I also tried running the game with ddraw mode using dgvoodoo and still have the scanline now! I wonder what went wrong.
Maybe I should try to install from another copy and see if that fixes the videos.
@@RiasatSalminSami Well, try this, go to the game .exe and set compatibility with windows 98. That remove the scalines but the game has issues with the audio, and it crash randombly too. Hope you can solve it with that. Is not a real solution for me cause the game is unestable and it doesnt run properly. But if you dont want video with scalines well, that's all i can help you man.

And yes I remember now. Setting compatibility to win 98 did fixed the scanline problem when I tried the game last year.
With that being said, I installed some patches and fixes which somehow ruined that fix. Cause now every time I set compatibility to windows 98, the game just gives this error shown in screenshot: cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/288942291677216768/715916692336803860/unknown.png
RIP, looks like I'll have to clean up the registry to fix it back but idk if that's worth the trouble.
By the way, did you notice something? During the match intro cutscene, the camera movement is smooth like it's true 60 fps. But once the match starts after kick off, it feels like regardless of the framerate counter, the game runs at half fps of the refresh rate.
I'll let you know if I can find some way to fix the framerate smoothness problem.

hi! if you need to change something for this game just go to nGlide and set whatever you want from there. Oh and if you want to change language, go to "opciones" in game and chose your language. Default the game is in spanish with english voices, but you can change it from there. Hope this can help you, have fun!.
