Mike and Louis made an amazing unintentional team here. Mike was able to express to Donna how it feels to get the person you want, and Louis showed her what it looks like when you miss the chance. Add in Donna's face as it dawns on her someone else might catch Harvey's eye first and the scene is just perfect.

@@sessi0000 nahhh idc bro I loved suits. Yes some parts were cringy some parts were slow but this show had some incredible moments which aren’t too far fetched from real life and great characters, too bad meghan markle had to leave it ☹️

Rick Hoffman was sensational here. The dialogue from louis has such a deep rooted meaning for Donna's context that it pushes her to go for it. Mike truly knew deep down that harvey and donna would let their ego's clash but rather not admit their feelings for one another. He just provides the right impetus and louis scores the home run.

When she reeled back after what Louis said to her, then kissed Harvey, the scene literally reduced me to tears. I am late to the show, in the middle of it right now. The show is excellent in every possible way. I am emotionally attached to these people! Wonder if they all knew the magic they were creating when it all started. Thank you creators, writers, actors and everyone else.

I thought that the kiss would be like a cold shower for Harvey, a hammer in head that would wake him up to see his feelings for Donna. But it had the opposite effect.
this show is magic, even when they went off script, they still managed to find their way back for a homerun

Autistics are characterized by a “strong sense of justice” and he is a much more accurate representation of how they are capable of a lot deeper empathy than the majority of people believe.

I watched this series in 2018. and ever since I have been watching a lot of movies and series,, I've never seen and enjoyed a love story like I did with Harvey's and Donna's

I just started season 8 and I’m already afraid of the same thing. I’ll never get into another show the same way as Suits. And I LOVED Succession and Billions (first half) but as into those shows as I was (and I WAS!)….they didn’t grip my soul anything like this one. It’s actually alarming how much it’s impacting me! 😅

Somewhere down the line Donna did play a factor in messing up Harvey's relationships. Even though I'm happy they ended up together , but Scottie was the real deal, and she had to suffer needlessly.
yes, I really felt so bad for Scottie :( she didn’t deserve to be treated that way and I was always wondering how she could love him so much even though he always pushed her away.
Donna never messed up any of Harveys relationships,he messed them up himself ,she always suppressed her feelings for him and as for those numerous relationships ,he knew in his heart that he had no strings attached and the women also knew including Scottie except for Zoe relationship with him which looked like a real one but Donna is and was always the real deal,they had such chemistry and they couldn't even deny it at some point.
@@akosuaakotoobeng2260 I think that Harvey just had really bad commitment issues. His relationship with scottie ended because he didn't tell her about things and the same with Paula. The only relationship that ended naturally was with Zoe. Donna was definitely in the wrong tho but he kinda always knew that donna was surpressing her feelings for him. None of the relationships ended because of Donna, they ended because of Harvey lying

Scottie made him sleep with her when she was engaged, always lied to him or kept things from him.
Paula gave him that ultimatum, sure Harvey would choose her.

Love it, brave, amazing show.
Donna gets bombarded by Rachel, Mike, Louis and Alex in quick succession. She had to kiss Harvey and I don't think it was selfish of her. Most people would do it.
It was selfish of her. No sense pretending Donna is incapable of mistakes.
It was not premeditated, i don't think she even knew she was going to do that.
She should be given a break since she always supported Harvey and his relationships notwithstanding whatever feelings she may have had for him.

Donna was not selfish. They demonstrated a 13 years in which she put Harvey before her.
The fact that she kissed him was a mistake as a result of all the circumstances presented.

Ok, Suits used to be intricate law/courtroom drama now it just become soapy. Donna is so much powerful when she is just Harvey's right hand woman or perhaps more like capo to a mob boss. This relationship of will they or won't they just diminished the entire show's content.

Since her promotion in s7 , Donna has really been annoying me. She's totally selfish, jealous and self absorbed. If harvey wanted her , hes had 12 years to make a move. Harvey uses her as an emotional crutch. I really wanted him to be with Paula, he was really starting to grow and develop emotionally.
The emotional crutch was Paula.
Harvey asked to go out when Donna told him she wanted "more" and he got scared not knowing what that meant. Paula helped him in his panic attacks and whatever "more" meant for Donna having Paula he would hi protect himself from suffering.
Donna had that rule and Harvey was afraid to break it for fear of losing her from his life both personally and professionally.
@J J But Paula knew that Donna and Harvey had feelings for each other and that Harvey was in denial. She knew it was unethical and unprofessional to have a relationship with a former patient who needed therapy, but she was too weak (her weakness caused a patient's child to die) to resist Harvey's charms.
We see a final glimmer of her consciousness as she is ashamed and lies to her former mentor about her relationship.
She hoped that her relationship with Harvey would become so strong that she would get Donna out of their lives before Harvey realized his feelings.

in turn he was helped. His dream would not have come true without Donna and Harvey
After Mike left, I stopped watching. I just saw the three episodes he appeared in in the last season. Without Mike and Harvey’s relationship I just felt it missed something.

Sometimes the biggest regrets aren't the mistakes you made, but the risks you didn't take.
Depends on the mistake and how big the fall out is. If you take a risk on someone or something that ends up gutting you and devastating your life irreparably, it would have been better to regret not taking the risk and never knowing how bad of a mistake it would have been.

I feel like there was a lot of intimacy between Donna and Harvey. Like before Harvey even realized he was closed off to everyone else but he couldn’t hide from Donna even if he wanted too. In a real world a therapist isn’t supposed to date a former client. If anything it seems like manipulation.. like their connection wasn’t real he only told her things because of her job lol so it’s weird I didn’t get to this episode yet but just seeing this is actually a plot twist. I do think 12 years is a long time to keep someone around however in between those times they both tried dealing with other people so it wasn’t like Donna was just waiting. She had her fun and so did he.
Suits will always be a part of my life. I've cried as i have never cried before for a movie. It's just touching my soul for some reason.

How is Donna selfish for kissing Harvey? Regardless that she knew he is with Paula, fact is she has been in love with him since forever and he looks our for her in every way just wouldn't call it love. Besides, Donna knows no other woman will ever understand Harvey. Scottie competed with Harvey, Paula was too insecure. It's Donna who Harvey was meant to end up with and she knew it. By kissing him, perhaps, she allowed that path to get laid in front of him. Donna actually took charge of their romance. If she had left it up to Harvey, he would have never realised and kept on treating her like her confidante/buddy/friend and been in eternal pursuit of love elsewhere.

And in an impulse of the moment he acted.
As happened with Harvey, who, when he went to Donna's door, didn't think about Thomas at all. He only knew that he had to be with Donna.
Because it WAS selfish. Stop trying to excuse it. Being in a relationship is being in a relationship. Donna was NOT the one dating Harvey and had no right.
She made a mistake, she wasn't selfish.
It was selfish of Harvey and Paula to demand that Donna sacrifice her job so they could be satisfied and happy.
