I agree with Gunnar, Coop, what you do is awesome. I filled up my garage with Rep because of your videos. My favorite bars are from StrongArm Sports in Canada but rack and benches are Rep. Thank you Coop
What an amazing surprise. His Beverley Hills gym tour is the only gym tour I've watched numerous times and it's great to see what he's done with more space. Hoping we get a round 2 to this one.
It's like a gym amusement park. I think it would be a cool place to visit, but for daily training, I like simplicity. I would spend more time trying to figure out what I want to use than actually training.
He is 100% correct that most of this is not required. In my old house my entire gym was in a 10' x 14' room in my basement. I had 2 racks, 7 bars, adjustable DBs and a cable machine. It was enough. I bought a new house and added a leg press, deadlift platform, and a Hammer Strength row machine. It's more than enough.
That was awesome! Have to ditto the comments on how much you serve the fitness industry. Been a fan of your work for years and I’m able draw inspiration and ideas from you for my own garage gym!
Thanks for the shout out Gunnar and Coop! I couldn’t agree more with what Gunnar says at the end. What you (Coop) and the team at GGR do for the community is truly remarkable and as a home gym owner first and a business owner 2nd, I thank you for everything you’ve done, are doing, and will do for home gym owners around the world.
This video could have easily gone for another 20-30 mins. So much stuff in the containers and elsewhere on the property. I’m on my second watch and can’t get enough of this video, I wish more video time was spent on all the other individual pieces. Great work team! Highly enjoyed this and learned something new.
Like at 1:58 seconds in. He’s got probably half a million dollars of equipment and if you pause the video and look at his cable setup. Those individual black and blue D handles I got from dicks sporting goods like five years ago for maybe $15. I love them and have travels with them. An absolute eye full of video by pausing this every now and again.
Another great video Coop. I am in Nashville so I would love to meet up with Gunnar some time. Is there any equipment he doesn’t have. The guy is a legend.
No one talks about how the LED lighting in gyms which produces blue light is toxic for us, as it has no red or near infrared light. Having open garage doors helps, but LED with full spectrum lighting is key, or incandescent which is being banned.
As the late Louie Simmons of Westside Barbell Club, whose members broke many world powerlifting records said, "Everything has purpose. Everything works, but nothing works forever. Constantly change. As long as you keep changing something small, you can keep making progress. Once you start doing the same thing over and over again, accommodation sets in. You're dead in the water. You don't make any progress." Gunnar Peterson has so much exercise equipment, his strength training clients don't have to worry about the problem of muscular accommodation, which is when muscular endurance, size, and strength gains stop if you do the same exercises with the same exercise equipment and the same strength training methods too long because of the body adapting, or becoming too accustomed, to them.
Good lord that place is sick. But that is a LOT of extremely expensive equipment. Where does the money come from? Surely not only from his celebrity training and side gigs as a consultant etc.
The best piece of equipment in that gym is Gunnar Peterson. Fun video, but if needed to be 4x longer. The whole thing felt rushed, I wish we not only got to see more, but spend a little more time with each piece....
It's a good video because it's more like a museum than a functional training space I would actually want. For me, there is more beauty in simplicity than clutter. But cool to see Coop get excited about all of the unique pieces
The only disappointing part of this video was that we did not get the shot of Coop crying when he had to leave.
You gotta love how much excitement and passion Gunnar still has after all the years
Have a feeling he ordered those pepins the minute coop left.
😂😂😂
I don't think Pepin is making them any longer. Only Reppins now.
I’m happy to see that even with the larger space he still crammed the place with stuff he likes.
I agree with Gunnar, Coop, what you do is awesome. I filled up my garage with Rep because of your videos. My favorite bars are from StrongArm Sports in Canada but rack and benches are Rep. Thank you Coop
Great conversation between two of the biggest gear nerds on the planet, what a treat
That ladder machine is incredible
That was awesome. So fun to see all the different equipment that I don't normally come across either online or at a gym. Good stuff!
What an amazing surprise. His Beverley Hills gym tour is the only gym tour I've watched numerous times and it's great to see what he's done with more space. Hoping we get a round 2 to this one.
This gym is insane.
That ladder mill is sick. The only thing a truly miss from the ymca is the Jacob's ladder. By far my most favorite piece of cardio equipment
It's like a gym amusement park. I think it would be a cool place to visit, but for daily training, I like simplicity. I would spend more time trying to figure out what I want to use than actually training.
For real, like it would be sick to just try everything thing out, but then I’m gonna go do 3x8 incline dumbbell press and pec flys 😂
Rep needs to send this man some peppin

I can only imagine being able to write off gym equipment like these pieces.
Ladder look nice, but u know Gunnar is getting those Rep/Peppin dumbbells now.
What a great guy!
common ground that someting all gyms should have. Leave the ego and BS at the door.
That was awesome! Have to ditto the comments on how much you serve the fitness industry. Been a fan of your work for years and I’m able draw inspiration and ideas from you for my own garage gym!
This is one museum i would love to visit
Thanks Gunnar. Thanks Coop
That was a great video bro, hell yea💪💪💪
Insane setup. I like how his brain works. Its very interesting. I would love to hear him talk about his experiences.
Unreal! Thanks so much for sharing and going for it! Keep crushing it!
Awesome video. Thanks Coop
Thanks Coop!
You gotta confuse the muscle 😂
The part at the end is awesome. Go Coop
“NO HANDIES” sign… CLASSIC

Absolutely AMAZING!

Excited we got a Part 2 with Gunner. More excited we are getting a Part 3!
Checking in, still love you Coop! Keep on Rocking :)

Gunner is the man!!!

I would consider moving just to join this gym
Amazing episode! Good job Coop
Does someone know the name of the handle at 10:30 please ? Sincerely, from France
Also want to know!!
@@benjaminshapiro2986 Me three.
Hey coop you should invite Gunner up to the ggr lab and allow him to pick out his favorites.
Super the best so far

BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE
Tennessee is where it's at folks! Jealous from SW Florida! i HAVE SOME LAND OUTSIDE OF Chattanooga, but looking for more!!! =))
I instantly liked this video after the Wayne's World reference in the beginning😄
It's like a kid in a candy store. Love it!
This was so cool!
Speechless
You do honestly fill a gap within the gym equip industry
Do you rip ass at 13:49? lol😂
Another great video Coop. I am in Nashville so I would love to meet up with Gunnar some time. Is there any equipment he doesn’t have. The guy is a legend.
He had me at "I left Los Angeles"
Cut from the same cloth.
is his gym open to public?
This was the dopest gym ever
Coop, holding back a few tears at the end there
with the praise to Coop. Great episode.
I wish i could go there and spend two weeks vacation there. Just try everything
As soon as I see flex equipment I know it’s gonna be a legit setup.
Could probably spend weeks in there and not try everything

that's awesome

You could make a year long series of the unique stuff this guy has - come back for the second gym build lmao
What are those multi grip single arm attachments??? I want those 10:25
Within 40 seconds I saw two pieces I want
Sick
Anyone else curious what all this stuff costs?
I thought all this instability stuff is long obsolete

You can't go anywhere next! This was the final boss!
You two are like 2 kids in Willy Wonka’s factory.
Coop looks like a kid in a candy shop
9:01 why are you stepping on the bench??
rad
I’d rather see Dr Mike critique this guy’s programs
Not a fan of this massive collection of gimmicky crapola. 😂

@ 100%. That Seth Feroce guy on TH-cam has a deadly gym lol.
❤💪🙏✝ GOD BE WITH US AGAINST EVIL AND TEMPTATIONS ✝⛪️🏋️♂️🕊
Gunner has huge bags u set his eyes….. caffeine and lack of sunshine is hurting his health
I wonder who this guy voted for
Thank you Coop!
