I enjoy the fact that the videos are short and leave out just enough information so that the viewers are curious and begin to explore for themselves. This channel is great and it's bringing me out of a void. Thank you to whomever.
1:41 Many Ancient Hindu temples are well preserved in southern india but very few of Ancient Hindu temples survive in Northern India because of their destruction by Muslim rulers. Mainly the major temples of north are rebuilt after 18th century.
Woah the hill of crosses part really got me as I was just watching the last part of a Great Big Story video now it’s in the first part with same words and music.
the Pantheon and Hagia Sophia would have been nice additions to this list, though it's probably fair to say that pretty much everyone already knows about those. Loved that wooden temple in Pattaya also
Fun fact: the second one Hindu temple . It has 8 containers at the top of the temple which had 8 different seeds of crops.. in case of some events of apocalypse or something similar happens So they can regrow again
They should continue this temple series... also there should be more beautiful churches, mosque, bahai temple and gurudwaras as well... even temples i know many other needs to be recognised which were missed in this video. May be next one...
Oh my god thank you for showing The White Temple from Thailand. My dad is from Chiang Rai and we always visit this temple every time we go back to Bangkok.
Despite the constant ravage of the world, deep within the human psyche is a core, the seed of goodness, ever ready to enlighten our suffering world. It's expression can be found in the writings of the great teachers, art, architecture, peaceful gatherings of people and as you show, these temples. They symbolize diverse religiosity and hope.
You miss Borobudur Temple in Central Java, Indonesia. It was built in the 8th century and still hold the record as the BIGGEST Buddhist temple in the world.

Can't deny how facinating the mesquita is , but if you're talking about a mosque inside a church you should check the Abou al-Haggag Mosque in Luxor,Egypt, which is a mosque built on a church which was built on Luxor's temple, i am talking about 4000 years of worship in one place , to different religions.
I’m from Europe but I was wondering why it didn’t make the list too. But I think it’s about temples that are very unique, like incredibly colourful/unique temples. Angkor Wat is beautiful but it has colours that are quite common for temples, a common design etc.
There are hundreds of beautiful temples in India but you mentioned only one or two temple from India. India is the land of many beautiful temples( World biggest and richest temples are located in India) like Meenakshi amman Temple ,Golden temple, virupaksha temple, Khajuraho temple, lotus temple, Mahabodhi tree temple ,Ramanathaswamy temple Kailasa temple ,Ranaksha temple, Ashkhardham Jaganatha temple,Brihadeeshwara temple ,Lingaraja temple ,Ranganatha temple and many mores .
I wish you had added one of those temples by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). Those are beautiful! They each have lovely symbolism, and some have some amazing history behind them!
while peoples complain about angkor wat or borobudur im surprised no one mentionned st peter of rome or the shwedagon pagoda in burma. those are worth including

It's such a shame so many are closing now in Iran.

@Michael Scott most ancient temples in india were destroyed so there isn't much anything can be done about that..

Love the common Hindu Budhhist cultural scape that is visible.
Love from India.

Although I've seen many of these, they are still beautiful to behold. Makes me want to go to Thailand.
The more spectacular thing about it is that us humans created those temples 🙏👌
There's many things left to see and learn from in this world

I don't think a list of most spectacular temples can be complete without Angkor Vat and Kailash temple.
They have different view of what is temple for them it's show of splendour
This is by far one of the best videos I've seen. I hope to visit every one of those places in my lifetime. (maybe even build my own)

The church (Eastern Catholic/ Orthodox) carved high in the vertical cliffs of Ethopia should be in this list.
Amazing!!! I hope to visit all of these places!
The workers seen in the sanctuary of truth temple are burmeses. And they should include Wat Phra Thart Pha Kaew in khao kho. It’s so stunning
The video for the cathedral in Cordaba doesn't give it justice, those pillars, just in width are like 20t wide and 300+ high?, maybe 400ft high
