I love the original song and I loved Balu gari version as well. It's different and in his own voice. Balu garu never imitates Mastaru' voice. As he explained in the beginning that once a song gets registered in one famous singer's voice, it's hard for most to superstar the voice from that song. There are numerous singers (in fact decent singers) who try so hard to imitate Ghantasala's voice and sing his songs extremely well -or so it seems, mainly becasie listeners like the voice association with that of Mastaru's. But original singers like Balu garu always keep their voice and style even if they sing others songs..

Also, I didn't once feel that Balu garu was irreverent to Mastaru garu at all. He just expressed what he thought of the general style of the song as was sing by Ghantsala Mastaru and I sort of see his point of view on that. Balu garu expressly showed his respect for SRakeswataro garu, Ghantsala Mastaru garu and C Narayana Reddy garu for their respective beautiful contributions to this wonderfulSong. As a great singer of our generation who served Indian Playback singing for 50 years and achieved some un achievable heights only a few others could reach, I do not see any harm or find it irrelevant if he expresses his thoughts of other singers, esp. While showing respect. They both are great singers in their own respect, and we should celebrate that they both are our very own, rather than trying to judge and bring one of them down. My humble opinion...

This was an excellent hit song by GHANTASALA mastaru. Why this Balu is speaking differently. However, SPB should not sing the Great Ghantasala gari songs and become a flop and an average street singer.
