The 53rd Weather Reconnaissance has multiple crews, although this one in particular appears to be solely composed solely of men. Most flight nowadays do have one or more female crew members, though, and just because they're not flying in this sortie doesn't mean that they aren't going to fly. They have to rotate crews; they can't have the same five people flying for days on end like that.
Edit: just checked their FB page, and crew member Kerri Englert flew on the 7th, the day the storm intensified to Cat. 5.

Learn to take accountability then understand God is nothing to joke about or play about.
You could be in a terrible storm alone and about to die but somehow say you survived.

That’s God giving you a chance to accept him before you leave this earth.

They probably fly above most of the heavy wind.
They are usually military/ ex-military pilots trained to fly in stressful conditions
They turn off the lasers for 5 mins
They are flying above the wind. We took off on a commercial jet during the outer bands of a tropical cyclone where the rain was going sideways. The pilot pointed the plane very steeply up and about a minute later it was a calm blue sky with all the angry clouds below.

Looked a couple times. The camera turns around as they enter the eye, then back as they’re leaving the eye. The copilot also latches a window as the camera turns back.
It looks like he was adjusting the video camera suction cupped to the window.
