    I'm probably late on commenting, but I loved my 7th gen accord. It was my first car, which it was passed done to me from my dad. we drove everywhere in that car and it was reliable through its 300k life span until it was unfortunately totaled. You got you accord around the same time I got my 2013 civic and I seem to drive to much because I have put 31k in less than a year. I love this car it is just that which it was a manual like yours, the 5spd auto in this r18 =slow and boring. But back to the reason I'm commenting; Nice car and I hope you keep it for a long time.

    I haven't watched your videos in so long since I've been so busy too lol but I'm glad that you're enjoying your accord. Their is something about Hondas where they still look "fresh" after ten years or so. It's remarkable. My coworker has one Identical to yours accept hers has navigation and it's an automatic but other than that, it's exactly the same. One day, I'll own a Honda too. But for now, I'll just stick with my 2008 cobalt since it's payed for. Lol don't judge me 😂😂 Still runs great too with 167k on it 😬

    I really want to upgrade the speakers of my 1998 Ranger. Surprisingly the stock ones are fairly good but after driving some newer fancier vehicles at work I can see a lot of improvement could happen haha. I also really need to work on cleaning up and fixing a few things with my door panels (because it's a Ford). Nice video! You may be still catching up to me mileage wise since I'm only at 171k as of now haha.

    had a 96 coupe 4 cylinder 5 speed and then an 05 4 cylinder 5 speed sedan, the 05 has almost no steering feel, road feel in general, and the noise isolation is incredibly good compared to the previous generation. It's a lot less engaging I have to say. You sit higher up and the steering is overly power assisted, could do with a little less assistance for better feel. It's still more fun to drive than the average car, mostly due to the manual trans and it gets slightly better mileage but it feels so muted.

I found a door in a scrapyard with same paint code for $175. $80 to have it installed by an employee of the scrapyard after he got off on the same day. Another $185 to replace sagging headliner. +Lukas the Mercedes Freak and car nut Automatic. It has been a great and reliable car up until now! Bought it new with 8 miles on it.

      Did you ever change the timing belt and water pump?

    • @jasetraber
      @jasetraber 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nam HT Nguyễn Yes, I did have both changed/replaced by the Honda dealer at the recommended mileage.

      How much you paid? I'm weighing on that idea. A mechanic estimates that service and brake (rotors and pads) for around 1000. I have 104+k miles on it currently

    +JakeMan21642 how much did your Michelin tires cost I have Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires and there about half gone and I'm looking at tires sometime soon and I don't want to fork out the $1,054 that discount tire wants I can get the Primacy MXV4 tires at sams club for $500

      I think they were around $800 mounted and balanced but the tire shop I used is fairly expensive. If you can get the MXV4's for $500 I'd totally do it because they're basically the older version of the premiers and just as good!

    Best Accord imo. (with cb7 coming in close 2nd). Anything newer is pretty much for the most part, crap.

      You're prob saying that b/c u used to own a 7th accord :p but yeah, fuck the 8th and 9th accord. Test drove the 2016 one and GOD it was unbearable. My dad wanted me to buy it but I ultimately ended up buying the 2016 civic because it was more updated and better looking. Can't wait to see what the 10th gen accord will be like in 2017. ;)

      I actually have some respect for the 9th accord but the 8th accord is absolute garbage. What I know about the upcoming 10th accord is that it will be based on Honda's new global platform which was just used on the new CR-V and Civic so it'll look something like those cars. They're supposedly adding a new engine too so that'll be interesting.

      I find it hard to believe that the 10th generation will be anything better than what we've already seen from Honda. The 7th generation was probably their best.

      @@warrenf5821 I owned a 7th Gen and loved it, I’ve got a 2020 Accord now. Both are great but the 10th gen is an incredible car.
