- We're refreshing the interior of our 1988 Winnebago LeSharo and wanted to get out in the wilderness to see how she camps. Overall it was a great trip and very productive in getting lots of little projects done.
VanLife may be the hottest thing, but this old Winnebago has lots of amazing features and functions very well while camping.
I really love your Camper.
Cool camper, cool trip, cool people in this vid. You're too groovy ones. Good luck for what may be coming up and you have a cool azz camper for sure.
Thanks so much!
Might be able to put wings on here and just whooooooshhh! Maybe not but I wouldn't count it out. hahahaha Love and honor to the both of ya.
Thanks, she looks aerodynamic, but I'm not sure she actually is.
Just bought a 2000 Rialta. Love your videos. I need to replace pleated shades. Love your valance covers!
Thanks! Wait until you see the rest. We're jealous of your VW horsepower.
Congrats!! LOVE our Rialta too :)
great van love it
Thanks, it's coming together. Keep watching for more updates, the finished product is coming soon.
It’s an Rv toots!
There are two used ones at a great price here in my hometown in California... I would have to sell my truck. And then use the Lucero to do everything from going to home Depot to groceries to- (goin surfing which is the best part obviously)... I love your channel .
you guys are great. We are way older. My wife is retiring this year. And she's disagreeable about trying to buy this Lucero... So how does it get around? Is it nimble enough to go grocery shopping etc???. Thank you
Thanks for watching! It is easy enough to drive around. It’s obviously a bit wider and longer than a regular car but it’ll fit in a big parking space. It’s very slow, so driving around town can be a slight chore but these little RVs have a surprisingly great ride.
I would just go with the jvc
We took our 88 lesharo out for a first trip last April too. We live in Lemont.
Nice! We've been renting this out all summer and are looking forward to using her ourselves this fall and winter.
Playing your music on speakers on campground in the night. Damn...
The music you hear in the outside shot is added in editing, the music inside is only inside the camper. I’m not sure what the issue is.
Great looking interior. Inspires me to finish my '86. What is the make of the awning?
Awning is made by Shady Boy
Thank you. Look forward to seeing more of your Le Sharo adventure
Can you please tell me what type of oil you use and do you use this regular gas or premium
how fast does yours go on the interstate comfortably? im looking at a 1984 with a 2.0l turbo diesel.
Out 2.2L gas with 3-speed automatic cruises at about 64 pretty well, but headwinds and hills slow it a fair amount. Up a big hill, like I-24 through Kentucky and Tennessee it will slow to about 45. As I approach a hill I try to speed up as best I can. I notice that at 67-68 (about top speed) the higher rpm’s are a bit better at maintaining speed.
I owned a 1987 Lesharo for a very short time, sold it so I could buy my dream a 1977 GMC Palm Beach
I'm also a very big fan of the GMC. I hope to have one some day. Don't tell the wife!
We’re looking into getting a Lasharo, are they reliable?
Nope! Not at all
@@CaptainKevWright Thank you for the info 😂
I'm sorry, but I think that's actually - Glamping. *lol* I love your videos, on both channels.
Yes! Thank you!
Yeah, anytime it's raining and you camp warm and dry with a full sized bed, bathroom, and kitchen, that's gotta be glamping.
What is the minimum and maximum fuel consumption?
We get anywhere between 11-13.5mpg depending on if the A/C is running and terrain.
I heard the Lesharo's are the slowest of any RV
Oh yeah, it’s incredibly slow. You basically have it floored all the time and can hardly keep up with Semis.
Hi, can you tell me how tall are you? Can you stand inside? Thanks!!
I’m 6’3” and I can’t stand inside.
Need a different engine and transmission set up, might have to do and swap.
Most swaps are the Chrysler minivan V6 and that makes a lot of sense. I think there is someone who did (or is doing) a Buick 3800 which I'd prefer. Especially in Supercharged form. Drag Racing LeSharo!
Quick recording tip:
When recording up close (TRY) to look at the camera lens, (black dot on your screen) not your image on the screen.
Watch your video it looks like you're looking behind your audience.
There cool looking I had what and sadly there junk😥
You say “la SHARE-oh”, I say “la SHAW-row”, let’s call the whole thing off!
You MUST be from New Jersey! I forgive you
