Thank you to all the soloists, and choristers, and our wonderful players and especially Christopher and Charissa Bagan for the fantastic film - everyone did a superb job! Our choristers singing at home - I heard your voices and saw your similing faces! Thank you for your wonderful singing! And at the heart of it all? Daniel Taylor. Sending out warmest congratulations to my dear colleague and friend. Bravi tutti!

Sheer joy...too much to say in one comment. To single out just a couple (to stand for all), Daniel Taylor's "Esurientes" was just lovely. And the baroque oboe was delightful. The blend and ensemble of the choir was amazing-I have enough trouble following the conductor when he's right in front of me in the flesh!

I appreciated especially the creative and moving videography of the Et misericordia eius duet; it must have taken much effort to plan the various angles and fadings in and out--very effectively done. And of course the performances of soloists, chorus and orchestra were excellent! Bravo, Maestro Taylor.

@@kathrynwhitneyandfriends Why, thank you! Do we know each other from the singing world? Or perhaps you know my son (the timpanist), or my daughtert-in-law, Cristina Zacharias (violin)

@@carlyn65 I'm the artistic director of the course above, so yes I know Cristina, who was a brilliant guest speaker on our course, and I'm grateful to your son (whom Ive not met) for his fantastic playing on our video!

@@kathrynwhitneyandfriends Yes, Cristina is a gifted speaker and teacher. She did a master's class before I retired from Queen's University, and it was also brilliant! Then we went and had a martini and I drove her to the train station to return home! They are coming to visit on Tuesday and we are beyond excited because we haven't seen them since Christmas. Thanks for getting back to me, Kathryn!
