UP 6902 Z-Train Intermodal With CPKC - KCSM South - E. Alpine Avenue Railroad Crossing, Stockton CA

(Filmed July 1, 2024) The next train behind the grainer was the ZG2LT intermodal which had a CPKC - KCSM trialing. This was my last catch of the day. After the train passed a woman in the white mini van (Toyota Sienna) threatened to call the cops on me for railfanning as you can barely hear it over the crossing. Funny enough the cops did come my way after I stopped recording only to u-turn and go the other way to respond to a more high priority call so that woman got karma but in a non-malicious manner. The ZG2LT was held up for over an hour for Amtrak 716 which didn’t come until after 3:30 PM which was ridiculous imo despite having clearance long before then. I wish this hold didn’t happen but I’m glad it didn’t turn out worse than it did considering the circumstances. This was my last catch of the day. This crossing owned by Union Pacific is a late 1990s to early 2000s install with changes to its lights, gates and gate lights.
