In Korea
The musical is great with great songs but seriously....who decided that Dracula should start looking like he is a member of a K pop band with that hair lol??? It doesnt go with the times and the theme. Not sure what the wig designer was thinking when they decided that Dracula would be sporting this hair colour and style in Victorian London. Prefer the Broadway and UK version to be honest. Yeah I get the culture differences but come on, there's no way Dracula would have been having neon red harir in that style in 1897 lol. Plus the fact that this version does base him on Vlad Tepes or Vlad the Impaler (It is refered to in one of the songs.) And Vlad definately did not have that kind of hair do lol.
It's just their choice. People are free to do what they want when they create something. If you check the other musical he is in, Dorian Grey, it's also modern style. The appearances and the setting are modern. That's what they wanted to go for and that's what they did.
The reason why Dracula is redheaded in this video is that the actor thinks that if Dracula sucks blood and the blood is delivered to his head, he has a redhead.,By having red hair, Kim Junsu Dracula was able to make a difference from other actors and became a symbol of Kim Junsu Dracula. I understand his personal taste, but I wanted to tell you why Kim Junsu actor had red hair.
이 영상에서의 드라큘라 머리가 빨간색인 이유는 드라큘라가 흡혈을 하고나서 그 피가 머리에 전달이 된다면 어떨까? 하는 생각으로 빨간 머리를 한 것입니다. 그 시대에 드라큘라가 빨간 머리로 보였다라는 의미가 아니라요. 김준수 드라큘라는 빨간 머리를 함으로써 다른 배우들과 차이점을 둘 수 있었고 이젠 김준수 드라큘라의 상징이 되었습니다. 개인적인 취향은 이해합니다. 하지만 빨간 머리의 의미를 잘못 알고 계시는 거 같아서 댓글 답니다. 번역기로 돌리기엔 이 이야기를 전달하는데 한계가 있는 거 같아 한국어로 남깁니다.
