    I love LMMS, first daw of mine. It’s a good stepping stone to both FL and Ableton. If you want to begin making music on a PC, I highly recommend it.

    Nice vid! Although, I wanted to point out the problem you had with your kick. LMMS's AudioFileProcessor has a loop, start position and end position knob. Turning the end position knob can get rid of that crackle at the end. And if the cutoff is too rough, you can just automate the kick volume to go down close to the end. All in all, great comparison! I hope you do more of these in the future with different genres :D

    You can in fact shorten the kick in LMMS, it's pretty similar to how you did it in FL.

  • @khairuladlan9453
    @khairuladlan9453 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

    I think the concept is slightly different between LMMS and FL...in LMMS, you just directly past the notes and chord in the piano roll of the instrument in the "song editor" window. Copy and paste can be done there without adding the "beat/bassline" track. I used to use both. LMMS sounds better with VST, not all the presets in it. However, I am about to install another DAW because I agree that LMMS isn't good enough in term of sound quality.

      Well, after using LMMS for past 1 and a half year as a beginner I was pretty much convinced that beats cannout sound any cleaner than its export quality (in fact the loudness as well): until I started taking note of the MAJOR differences. The sound quality is quite a notable one, and LMMS somehow puts down the volume while exporting. That's a truly disappointing issue which I have faced almost everytime :(
