Make sure your foreground color is black and the background color is white. For you both are on black at the moment.
Any way to make the lines horizontal?

@@tristamii Hm that's a bit hard to explain but you need to make the lines on separate layer then create a smart object out of all layers. Here's a tutorial with vertical lines.
