It would be the perfect competitor to the Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo games. Sadly that'll most likely never happen but it's fun to think about.
Grid 2 is still GOATed. I remember people hated on it cos it didn't have interior view and a driftier handling model, but this game adheres to the SOUL of Grid more than Autosport and 2019 ever did. Grid was never a sim. It was an action racing game. It wasn't built for laps around Brands Hatch. It was built for moments like this, where every race feels like the season finale of a good racing show where you're the star.
The game was always fantastic, just that the people of the time when it was released because it wasn't exactly like the first game... Kind of understandable since a game simulator to this is 2012 NFS: MW which should not have the name at least (And given the messy development history it was rather unfortunate too) it's a fun and janky ass game but got massive backlash due to having expectation to be a sequel to a pre-existing establishment to a franchise that got high praised before. Wait till u play online, most dramatic races when i was rocking with an i3 laptop back in the days, choping corners like hell in 2018
This game still looks good
i remember downloading the demo for this game and being quite ass at it but i kept at it till i got better and relied on the rewind less and less eventually i bought the game, the fool i was being overly confident jump at a tier 3 nsx (cause i love the nsx cars) and driving it quite horribly cause of the speed and the way it handled and it humble me so i just jumped back down to tier 1 and tried out the different game modes for bot races but not for too long eventually i jump onto career mode after i felt i was confidant in my driving ability, the thing i remember was being blow away by was the fact that due to the way career was made and the stages they threw me in made me better at handling tier 1,2,3 when i was able to drive and use tier 3 vehicles i was blown away at myself at how easy it was to handle and drive them compared when i first attempted driving a tier 3 vehicle (nsx and yes i went back to it and could drive it to its full potential) and the two things i remember the most was the fact i used a viper on that one race against that one touge group and drove it like a mad man uphill, the other one was with that one heavy amg car that's hard to drift i just ended up drifting that thing anyways and succeeding in it multiple times during this downhill course.
That title goes to Driveclub tbh.
I never owned a PS4 so I missed out on Driveclub...
@@MariusUrucups4 emulation has started for real! The long wait will end soon to try this gem of a game
@@mardel5466 I'm planning on buying a PS5 anyway now since I can afford one, as well as having a new desk with more space to put the console (I live in a rented apartment).
And I'll look for a used copy of Driveclub and who know, I might make videos on it too.
