Melstrum is dope for DnB and other electronic music that need a good Reese, impressed by the sound comming out of just one because I have three in a Combinator in My Reese base.
Is anyone else following exactly what he's doing and getting totally not the same sounds at all? What am I missing? Is there something else added he doesn't mention. To start with mine doesn't pump at all, while he's pumps from the very beginning.
love you Reason Studios
Yes! Fell in love with the "vintage" looking of the rack. It was love at first glance!

REASON NEEDS MORE CONTENT LIKE THIS!!!
This bloke from GC is so nice that you feel like hugging him. Lovely tutorial. Brilliant!
Nice to see the OG synths getting some love - good tutorial thanks!

Nice patch, simple, sounds good!
Whoaw this is super heavy, 50 Carrot's a jedi master. 🙌
Nice! Loving that Maelstrom in action. Great tutorial.
The drop is so good 😮
Might be the basics, but the basics are powerful for a reason! Dope tutorial, hope it helps an aspiring filthy nasty bass producer of tomorrow!
Nice to see someone doing it almost entirely with Reason stock devices. Sounds a bit basic and digital for my taste though.
jeah! Malström & Subtractor are old, but still cool
50 you absolute legend!
Very cool, thanks!
Love your vid, very good explanation
Great tutorial, thank you.
Love the tutorial, very handy!
Question: do you use the square bass as a secondary bass along the sawtooth bass?
I see you! Thanks for the tutorial ;) Just to mention in episode 25 of the livestream with Protostar, he shows how to make a Reese bass with Thor.
James Brainard showed how to make bass like this on this channel around a decade ago and the patch download links still work.
That's some gritty grit goodness!!!
Awesome video thanks!!!!!!
nice vidéo, thanks

Dive in!!

Pumping effect is made by the pulveriser he use.
And Reason 13 with VST3 ? Never ?
THIS IS NASTY make it a tune
🤡
Maelstrom and subtractor are trash
like your music, I just listened and I can see why you think that
