Thank y'all so much! The track was done with love for my fallen brother. I miss Dime. Bumblefoot really put some fretless magic down on the track and Rick Skatore & Tobias Ralph laid down the mighty bass & drum foundation. Music should always reflect truth and emotion. I feel we accomplished both with this tribute to Dime. I appreciate y'all and I'm grateful that y'all heard and felt the love. HMS4L! \m/ ~
Great tribute track! What happened to the vid of 24-7 playing in a German studio called something like "into the nicht" it's since been pulled. Shit rocked hard.
Thanks y'all. Dime was my friend and I couldn't think of a better way to honor him. This reminds me of the cat that I knew, a axe slinging, riff shredding badass with a good heart. Big ups to Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (Guns & Roses), who played fretless guitar alongside me on this track. Brotherhood was the energy of this track with Ron, Rick Skatore, Tobias Ralph and myself laying it down for our brother. I miss him and I wish he was still here.
MY OH MY!!!! I'm just now hearing this for the 1st time and I've both a few Spyz albums before. HOLY SHI*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wake the kids and call the neighbors!!!
Jimi Hazel I have to say you and the 24/7 crew were the most underrated band in the 90s. I’m still rocking Gumbo and I even learned the bass lines of two songs. Thanks for the music and the college memories!
I was into Jimi before i had known Pantera. I pumped him hard to my musician friends. Especially a friend that plays all over the world with the Robert Lockwood All Stars. Of course his faves are Robert, Albert and Jimi. You can now add Mr. Hazel.
Jimi's guitar doesn't simmer it just explodes all over this track. As soon as I hear the guitar I instantly know it's him just like Bumblefoot they have that signature sound as did Dimebag. Dime is missed but never forgotten. Glad I ran across this gem again I need to throw it into to my weekly mix it was too long since I heard it. Man this track is crazy good.
Jimi Hazel man!!!! man!!!!! I hear all the greats in your playing style, jimi hendrix, ernie isley, eddie hazel, michael hampton i even hear a little billy gibsons.
A humble word from me : i cannot stress enough how awesome the reaction has been on this upload, thanks to the liberal support of our friend Mr Hazel!. On a personal note : i keep this track mainly as refference to what music can be. I listen to it whenever i need to feel like home. Hope we can all keep this jewel alive, so share, spread the butter and enjoy. Peace y'all!
+filterfunkable I'm not a great guitarist, but I play. I write most of my own music, so if you would like to look into it, you know where to find me. I sing too.
We all know whenever you do a tribute to a human who has left the planet you better not phone it in and it must be fire. Mr. Hazel showed his late friend much love and all us lovers of the electric six strings salute you sir for sharing this masterpiece. There was no filter on this funk filterfunkable!
Hi typist at schomburg your sister says Hi big brother I see ya' now can we get together another summer your music is fantastic interpreter. - denise creswell

Thank you! The videos from the studio all got taken down for some strange reason. :-(

Jimi Hazel, you have only gotten better since I last heard you. R.I.P. Dimebag Darrell.
There's another great tribute to a fallen musical hero on Vernon Reids solo album 'mistaken identity ' called Saint Cobain. definitely worth a listen.
Happy Birthday Dime!

R.I.P. Dime! ( you are now Jimi "Dimebag" Hazel). 24/7 !

Sad that Kanye West has 193,000,00 or so watches and these guys have 11,638 . Where's the music and talent gone and why ?

He should play this live with a Confederate flag Dimebag guitar.
vette solo
Hendrix, not dimebag.
Add a zero to the Kanye number , sorry !
