There are many things I would like to tell you in this comment, too many, but of the things you need to know is that 'K-pop' is not a music genre, but an industry, it is also referred to simply 'popular music in Korea'. BTS debuted in 2013 as a hip-hop group, but over time they decided to experiment with their sound, thanks to which their musical range is very diverse. Now they are the biggest group in the world and one of the most successful artists. The group consists of 7 members (including 3 rappers and 4 vocalists) from South Korea. 1. RM ( rapper, leader ) September 12, 1994 - 29 years old 2. JIN ( vocalist ) December 4, 1992 - 31 years old 3. SUGA/AGUSTD ( rapper) March 9, 1993 - 30 years old 4. J-HOPE ( rapper) February 18, 1994 - 29 years old 5.JIMIN ( vocalist ) October 13, 1995 - 28 years old 6. V ( vocalist ) December 30, 1995 - 28 years old 7. JUNGKOOK ( vocalist ) September 1, 1997 - 26 years old They collaborated with a lot of artists such as: Snoop Dogg, Steve Aoki, Juice WRLD, Wale, Lauv, Fall Out Boy, Warren G, Jason Derulo, Erykah Badu, Muni Long, Anderson .Paak, Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, Halsey, Becky G, MAX, J.Cole, NLE Choppa, Kodak Black, Desiigner, Coldplay, Lil Nas X, Charlie Puth, Usher...(+more) As a group BTS have a huge amount of songs 300+ (only 3 of their songs are entirely in English). They are all songwriters and music producers, most of their work is very meaningful, so reading the lyrics is really important. They make music in a lot of different genres and styles (Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, EDM, Latin Pop, Ballad, ...+). Each of the members is very different, and all of them make their own solo stuff so depending on what kind of music you are interested in, you really have a lot to choose from. You can let me know what genre or style of music is your favorite, and then I will recommend you some songs that you might like, because no matter what it is, BTS has music for everyone. Also if you want to know more about them I highly recommend you to watch this video that link I will write below, I think that this is the perfect introduction before you start listening to more music from them: 'The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS (2023 Update!)' by Rice Squad ( th-cam.com/video/0KonKFssKnM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=s-2MdHNs_QVH52aS ) If you have any questions, ask and I will be happy to answer.
Bts Is different. They are a genre of their own. They write their own songs and raps mostly. 7 talented and humble guys. Never compare them to others. They are the KINGS❤Ciut your hair and shave and you will look pretty good too😂
OK after watching your reaction I decided to follow you. You are just wholesome and genuine in your reaction! It is said that BTS finds you when you need them most and i can attest to that. I was going through SEVERE depression and they LITERALLY saved my life. If you decide to stick with BTS, we ARMY will be right there for you. We are an enormous fan base who will support you.
When you said you are depressed these days only one thing came in my mind. Being army (bts fandom) we always say "you don't need to find bts, bts will find you when you needed them most " so I think you need bts right now Welcome to the BTS world 💜
Hi liked your reaction, I am a 62 year old U.K. lady and I heard BTS back in 2020. To say their positive energy, talent, lyrics has made me so happy is an understatement. You really need to listen to their Korean songs with subtitles you will find they are incredibly versatile. I don’t know your preference in music, but there are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. But each member is incredibly talented. Suggestions. Mic Drop Fake Love Dope On Blood sweat and tears Black swan Also their live versions are incredible. Looking forward to seeing you check out more BTS if you choose. All the best 💜
One thing you need to understand, for non native english speakers, english were taught in school. We were exposed to foreign language including music since we were born. Most of kpop were sung in korean with a mix of english here and there. Butter and dynamite were part of their english trilogy released during the pandemic to cheer up people. The other song is permission to dance. So all of it are happy poppy song. Even if kpop are in korean, they have subtitles. I know it's kinda hard at first but you'll get used to it. BTS has been around since 2013. They covers a lot of genres as well. You can hear sample of their song in this monthly compilation of their most streamed song on spotify. Not for you to react though, it's just to give you a rough idea how their music sounds like. th-cam.com/video/wWJ4RuHXP_Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=A6c_RS5kgay5qJtX Some of their songs have deep lyrics and sometimes requires explanation videos. Currently all members are in the military for their mandatory military service for 18-21 months. So they will only continue group work after June2025. Do not worry as they have a lot of contents in store😊. Have fun exploring! 👍☺
These guys have been around since 2013 but where thengot big was 2016ish if im correct these guya are massive. They do have other genre's hip hop r&b latin pop ballad and rock as well its absolutely insane
Thanks for this reaction. Among ARMY, there is a saying that BTS finds you when you need them the most in your life. :) BTS is consisting of three rappers and four vocalists. And all seven of them are excellent dancers. They do a wide variety of music, but basically they are rooted in hip-hop. All seven members are participating in making their songs by writing, composing, and producing them. BTS started with a small company that almost went bankrupt, so they have been very looked down and hated by Korean broadcasting stations and other K-pop fandom. So they have struggled from the beginning to prove themselves. Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance, these three songs were released in English to give positive energy to people around the world during the pandemic caused by Covid-19. :) Most of their songs are in Korean, and their music video provides subtitles in several languages, including English. If you're interested in BTS' other songs, I highly recommend the music video and live performance of Spring Day and Mic Drop. These two songs are totally different from each other, and you can feel the diversity of their music. And I'd like to introduce the story of the iconic trilogy that led them to a speech to the United Nations General Assembly. I think it would be good to follow the story line. DNA: Joy of fateful love → Fake Love: Realizing that love was a lie → IDOL, The Truth Untold, Epiphany, Answer Love Myself: To love other people completely, you should love yourself first. These are included in Love Yourself Trilogy. Oh, RM's speech at the UN cannot be missed. He was only 24 years old at the time! The lyrics of BTS' songs are based on their own experiences, and their albums are organic because they contain their growth narrative. It will also be fun to listen to their albums in order and analyze them. :) They make a wide variety of genres of music like Hip-hop, Ballad, R&B, pop, EDM, etc. I'm sure there're quite a few of their 300 songs that suit your taste. :) If you're interested in their lives, I'd recommend a few. :) Their live performances are always even better than MVs! BTS (방탄소년단) 'Dynamite' @ 63rd GRAMMY Awards Show th-cam.com/video/jWRMXiHhDjc/w-d-xo.html This video is a non-face-to-face performance due to the pandemic when BTS was nominated for the Grammy Awards. 2020 MMA Black swan Perf.+ On + Life Goes On+ Dynamite th-cam.com/video/PtaP4UkZKyc/w-d-xo.html Suga couldn't participate in the performance due to rehabilitation after his shoulder surgery, but this is one of the masterpieces. BTS BUTTER The 64th GRAMMY Awards th-cam.com/video/HbkBVxU5K5A/w-d-xo.html I highly recommend this. You'll watch a great dance break. ;) '[EPISODE] BTS (방탄소년단) @ 64th GRAMMY Awards' th-cam.com/video/Hr1OSHf3S2Q/w-d-xo.html And this is a video of how they practiced for their performance at the Grammys. They were in a rather difficult situation at this time. Jin had to undergo surgery because of his finger injury, and J-Hope and Jungkook had COVID19 and joined the practice belatedly. But overcoming the whole situation, they did it! Actually, BTS members have gone into 18 months of military service under Korean law. After releasing a collaboration single, The Astronaut, with Coldplay, Jin, the oldest member, already enlisted about 13 months ago and is currently serving as an assistant in the Korean Army boot camp under Korean law. And J-Hope joined the military about 9 months ago after releasing his solo album Jack In The Box and collaborating with J.Cole. J-Hope is also serving as an assistant to the Korean Army boot camp in a different unit from Jin. Suga released his solo album, D-Day, and he sold out all of his world tours and ended successfully, and he joined the army, last September 22. And V and RM joined the army on December 11, and Jimin and Jungkook joined the army together on December 12. RM ,the leader of BTS, released his solo album, INDIGO, and another album will be released after joining the army. Jimin released his first solo album, Face, last March, and the title track of the album, Like Crazy, became the first Korean male solo artist to reach the Billboard Hot 100. V released his solo album, Layover, last September, and after joining the army, he recently appeared in the music video for Korean female solo singer IU's new song 'Love Wins All'. Jungkook, the youngest member, sang "Dreamers" in the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and his single "Seven" released last July became the second Korean male solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100, and recently released his first solo album, GOLDEN. Due to their military duty, BTS briefly stopped working on a group they had been working on for eight years, and have been focusing on solo work for the past year. They promised their fan base, ARMY that each of them will grow further through solo projects and come back together in 2025 after completing their military service. Five months from now, on June 12, Jin will return from the military, and J-Hope will also return to our side on October 17. Jin and J-Hope, who will be discharged first, will entertain ARMY until the other five members return in June 2025. :) You can watch videos of their enlistment day on their official channel, BANGTANTV, and see the seven of them filled with trust and love. :) Lastly, I think this video is the best to understand each BTS member. ;) A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor th-cam.com/video/huV_yIdxZPY/w-d-xo.html
@@WillvorineTheir English songs came out during the pandemic to cheer up people. So these songs are just poppy, fun but not having to have deep meanings like their other Korean & English mix songs.
I know plenty of people have already commented on the whole English/Korean thing, so I'll just say I'm excited for your BTS journey! Liking BTS is the best decision one can make, and their talent is incredible. There's 7 members; 3 rappers and 4 vocalists, though they can all do both of those, and they all dance. Their lyrics and music videos have DEPTH to them, so be sure to put captions on.
Thank you for giving our beloved BTS a chance. You don't have to worry about offending even if you don't like their music sometimes. Not all their music will be to your taste but if you are respectful you will have no problem. Just one reminder, put captions for their music because they sing in Korean and their lyrics are deep and meaningful. Enjoy!
It kind of funny 😅 when you said,i scream, you scream,it a lyrics in one of the boys group Tomorrow By Together 'Ice Cream). They are from the same label as BTS.
Jungkook of BTS recently released a whole album in english: Golden. You should check out his music videos: Standing next to you, 3D and Seven. If you want a korean one of BTS, start with ON Kinetic Manifesto Film (and turn captions on). It's awesome 💜
Do yourself a favor and watch "A Guide to BTS-The Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari". It's a great intro to them and their history. K-Pop is alot of fun, usually Korean/English mixed. BTS members all do their own individual projects too. They are all in the military now so they will be back in 2025. Jungkook is the youngest and the lead singer. To say he is magnificent is an understatement. He did an ALL ENGLISH album in 2023. Watch the mv's for Seven, 3D & Standing Next to You(original and remix performance video with the amazing USHER). You will fall in love with these boys, we ALL do 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
@@mazanreactsplease do, because it is genuinely an amazing way to get to know all 7 members, and it will make reacting to their music even better and more meaningful. And please don’t worry about the length of the reaction or about pausing - we don’t mind long reactions, and prefer for you to read and take in the information rather than miss a lot because you rush through it. Same with songs, please remember subtitles and take the time to read the lyrics so you don’t miss out on enjoying their lyricism. Welcome, and enjoy your BTS journey 💜
Kpop has been around since the early 90s or around that time. It has been popular internationally but it was a smaller niche type of music. Some 2nd gen kpop artist tried to breakout into the west but with little to no luck, BTS were the first to break down the doors in the west when they won Top Social Artist in 2017 Billboard music awards. Since then the band has gained immense popularity and worldwide recognition. Dynamite was their first full English song and Butter was their second. They have a third called Permission to Dance which were all released during pandemic to bring a little happiness to people stuck at home or going through a hard time. I would recommend listening to their other korean pandemic song Life Goes on so you can get a range of what BTS put out during those years. Life Goes On is part of their self-produced pandemic album BE and dynamite was included in the tracklist.
K-pop is mostly an umbrella term to describe a type of industry. Not all Korean music would be K-pop. It includes a wide variety of genres as well. The songs are usually in Korean mixed with a bit of English. BTS likes to experiment with new sounds all the time. Their Korean songs are really good and their lyrics are important, so you might want to turn the captions on. They're really involved in their music and with their fans, ARMY. They're really hardworking guys and it's always a pleasure to see new people discover their music! Enjoy 💜
Their discography is extensive and diverse. Something for everyone. Permission to Dance is also all in English. It mostly is in Korean with a little English thrown in. But seriously, the music is so good, it doesn't even matter.
Thank you for your reaction to BTS ! BTS are 7 normal boys who are are legends because of their talent and most importantly, their genuity and depth. They can do a range of genres and their songs' lyricism is exceptional, their older members like RM and Suga (August D) are like lyrics masters. The messages that they bring out in their songs is healing, inspiring and thought provoking. They have themes and trilogies in their discography, which we hope you can slowly explore while they are on "hiatus" - like The Most Beautiful Moments in Life (exploration of adulthood challenges or youth), - the Love Yourself theme (about loving others, pain of love and self love), - The Map of the Soul theme (exploring the topic of human psyche like persona, shadow, ego) ... the way they link all these themes is like going on a life journey with us using music and lyrics as a bridge to connect. Their music has helped many people overcome difficult times in life and inspire them to love themselves and speak themselves. BTS has in a way stepped up a level and developed into a stage of "helping others" in a way they could not have imagined. If you are interested to explore more, you can watch their songs and turn on the CC subtitles to have a feel of what their songs try to convey, its gonna stimulate your mind and senses :) .. there are so many songs to delve into i can't even choose which ones lol , but some great choices will be black swan, mic drop, idol, fake love, silver spoon, blood sweat & tears, piep piper, angpanman etc etc etc
Just continue to dive into the BTS rabbit hole. You’ll have the ride of your life. They have so much content . Sit back and enjoy the journey. ✌️🫶🐯👑🐻💜♥️💜♥️💜BORAHAE
Well, most of their songs are in Korean or Japanese, with some English. If you do more BTS, you need to put subtitles on. Now, Jung Kook, BTS' Main Vocalist, released an all-English album November 2023. There are 3 MV's to that - Seven (ft. Latto), 3D (ft. Jack Harlow) - and a remix was done with Justin Timberlake, and Standing Next to You (my favorite of the 3)(and there is a remix done with Usher). So, since you seem to want only all-English, I highly recommend this. BTS' all-English feel-good songs were put out in pandemic to make people do just that - feel good. It worked! However, many of their songs are deeper so you need the lyrics. They were big before these songs, but in the Western world, they really blew up because of these 2 songs plus Permission to Dance. They sell out stadiums 4 nights in a row - like at SOFI stadium in LA and also in Las Vegas in 2021 and 2022. They've probably got over 1000 awards by now. Anyway, thanks for reacting to BTS. They are the most talented and best group of young men I've ever seen in my life (and I'm old). Oh, they've collab'd with Coldplay for a song My Universe. Maybe you'd like that - also done during pandemic.
These songs aren't really indicative of their discography. Their Korean songs give a better understanding of their artistry because they had a hand in writing and producing the majority of them.
Thanks for checking out BTS. They have 3 English songs during the pandemic to uplift the fan’s spirit. Permission to Dance is their other English song. Please check out also Mic Drop with Steve Aoki, Black Swan, Blood Sweat and Tears, ON kinetic manifesto film, Fire, Idol, DNA, Fake Love and many more. Please turn on the subtitles so that you’ll understand the message of the songs. See you soon!
Most KPop is in Korean or a mix of Korean and English. BTS released Butter for the Western market along with Dynamite. You should listen to their other stuff. These were light hearted songs released during COVID. Their discography is very diverse. They have group songs, solos, songs from the vocal line and songs from the rap line. BTS has 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Check out Dope, Fire, Not Today, ON, etc. they have been performing for 10 years.
The vast majority of Kpop is in Korean or a hybrid of Korean/English. BTS' discography is primarily hybrid. The English trilogy of Butter, Dynamite, and Permission to Dance were pure English as a way of reaching more people during the lockdown.
These were one of their happy songs to cheer up the post covid world. BTS is a multi genre world phenomena. Over 730 awards Personally I love the BTS rappers. Try Agust D Daechwitta. J Hopes MORE or if you want something completely different try MIKE DROP and BLACK SWAN make sure you put on the subtitles.
BTS are on another level. Butter, Dynamite & Permission to Dance were created & performed in English during COVID to help raise everyone's spirits. BTS have been around since 2013. They have gone thru much adversity, they are all multi-talented, yet remain humble & kind. Please watch BTS Festa 2021 which has snippets of some of their songs. They were not handed this popularity, they worked very hard for it, despite people treating them horribly, then and now. When they one by one started their mandatory military service in Dec. 2022 they each released solo music, which is also awesome, then theyvwill come back together in 2025. Their award show appearances, live concert performances, music videos, dance practices are ALL AMAZING. BTS fans are called ARMY, who are every age, & are loved by BTS. Please give them a chance & try to really listen to their music. Just when you think their videos are over they're not, & some video themes tie together.
Dynamite was my gateway drug song into BTS. They have so many songs and styles of music, it’s ridiculous. I agree with the other comments, you should dive right in and check out other videos and songs. Each member is so talented, they really are amazing. But they have also put in many long hours to get where they are now. Here are some video suggestions: Mic Drop, Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, DNA, Black Swan, Permission to Dance, Fake Love, Dope, Danger, ON, Boy with Luv (ft. Halsey), Idol, and the BTS Tiny Desk Concert on NPR. Be sure to turn the captions on as the lyrics are important. All are excellent. Their choreography is perfection! The youngest member, Jungkook has a solo album “Golden” with really great songs, such as Seven, 3D, and Standing Next To You. These are just a handful of ones to get you started. Hope you enjoy! 😊💜
Check out the song Run BTS live in Busan and Mic Drop, Black Swan....you reacted to 2 of the 3 songs that they released in english. Normally they do sing in Korean with a mix of english lyrics , but any genre you think of, they have done it and did it well.
BTS CANTA en coreano, japonés y en grupo solo sacaron tres sencillos totalmente en ingles: butter, dynamite, permission to dance, éste último también con lenguaje de señas.
I recommend u BTS member Jungkook solo songs :) Jungkook- 1. SEVEN, 2. 3D, 3. STANDING NEXT TO YOU 💜💜💜 plz this is so good!!!! And he performed songs from times square! That is also so good
I loved your reaction, I laughed so much at your comment about watching horror movies 😂 I know a few people have already recommended them but I’d just like to add my support to you reacting to Jungkook’s solo music. He released an all English album with three singles, Seven (feat Latto) which you may have actually already heard as it’s been all over the radio & became the fastest song in history to pass 1b streams on Spotify, 3D (feat Jack Harlow) & the title track Standing Next To You which has also has a very popular remix with Usher. During his pre-release period he also participated in a collab with The Kid Laroi & Central Cee called Too Much. I think you’d really enjoy his 3 singles in particular though if you like these two tracks.
As many have commented BTS is their own entity, so diverse and trendsetters. If you want more BTS, I suggest reacting to 1. MIC Drop Mix with Steve Aoki 2. Black Swan 3. On Kinetic Manifesto Film I love when they Mix Korean and English in their songs, so usually subtitles are a must. The way the do it is so clever
Thanks army for explaining a new kpop listener i miss bts and i know you also miss him army We oll waiting for see them oll together and we all love them so much Miss you bts 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🥺
I’m cracking up at you having an existential crisis over thinking you were wrong about your assumption of kpop being sung in Korean hahaha. You have just happened to react to 2 of 3 of the ONLY all English song that BTS put out. I highly recommend ON Kinetic Manifesto Film by BTS 😊
There are only 3 English songs (3rd one is “permission to dance”, pls turn on closed captions after watching those, so you can see the English translations. Other songs has no official videos, you can check the lyric videos.
Hello ! It's really cool to see you react to BTS, Butter and Dynamite, they were made in English to reach the American public, so they have a lot of songs in Korean and BTS have been working in the music field for 10 years, and their discography is huge, it's worth it It's worth researching more deeply because there is a lot of depth in most of their lyrics, you will even find solo songs from each of the members, since I'm an army, I love watching vbideosds from react to BTS and I've seen many become part of the ARMY
Bts is much more than these songs, they have been a career for 10 years and have more than 200 songs, i recommend You on kinetic manifesto, mic drop, black sean, love bts and i am 43 year old army,
Hi! I was wondering which genres of music you usually listen to, since BTS’ music is extremely varied and touches many different genres. Good luck with your journey! You won’t regret it one bit 💜
You stumbled upon 2 out 3 of their english songs lol next songs to check out for sure Boy With Luv, Mic Drop and I Need U to see just a glimpse of their range 💜 have fun with BTS and welcome 😊
Well.. Most of their song is Korean. But if you interested in BTS song in Korean language. You can turn caption on. And actually, I think it's more interesting hearing BTS from korean song than English song..
Of course bcause u react to their eng song, and of course they sang in korean bcause thats where are they came from And you gonna love them U are cute and funny Keep it up with more BTS pls You will love them 💜
You should react to Mic Drop (Steve Aoki remix mv) and Black Swan to get a better scope at the kind of music they do. Make sure to put the captions on though. And thank you for reacting to BTS!🙂
First off your not an idiot, most kpop songs even though they have some English but are mostly sung in Korean. These 2 songs were done because of the pandemic, they felt their fans needed something fun and catchy so they did 3 songs in English. Butter was No.1 on Billboard for several weeks. If you do other kpop songs you can put on captions and they are in English. BTS has been around since 2013 but it wasn't until 2017 that they started to be mainstream in the US. Kpop has very upbeat music so even if for the most part you may not know what they say you will enjoy the beat and most of the chorus.
Porque la mayoría cree que el k-pop es como un ser extraterrestre? Es sólo música coreana, la k es de Korea, si ese país tuvo mucha influencia norteamericana debido a que USA es su aliado, por ende hay ese tipo de intercambio cultural. 🤷🏽
First question in Korea why didn't you have the closed captions turned on and English translations selected? Or did you and it's just not showing on the video. Second question which rock have you been living under BTS is the biggest group in the world not the biggest K pop group the biggest group in the world since The Beatles! They are the first group since The Beatles to have three number one albums in less than one year in the United States. You thought it was song in Korean but you managed to select the second song they ever did fully in English dynamite being the first song they did fully in English starting in 2020 during the pandemic. They have three all English songs in this order first dynamite then butter then permission to dance which they performed at the United Nations General Assembly after finishing their third speech at the United Nations in 2021 starting in 2022 all seven members of BTS dead solo albums for the first time after the three members of the rap line did 5 solo mixtapes what you're not albums technically. The last solo album was done by the youngest member of BTS John cook I'm sure you've heard his songs they were all in English his entire album was in English recorded in the United States all his videos were done in the United States from what I understand. Every one of his songs debuted at #1 on billboard Hot 100 in 2023 they were traditional western pop music and he started being called the new King of Pop and the Prince of pop take your choice? Maybe you should check out their collaborations with Coldplay the first collaboration my universe 2nd collaboration done with one member of BTS Jen the oldest member song was called the astronaut written by Chris Martin my universe Co-written by Chris Martin and members of BTS in Korea! They have other collaborations with western artists like Ed Sheeran Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg usher Halsey several western rappers and many more! Last part a few years back BTS was the first group to have three songs in three different languages in the top 10 or 15 on billboard Hot 100 the languages were English Korean Japanese the only artist to ever three songs in three different languages on billboard at the same time. Hey pop songs are typically and Korean an English in every song both languages! K pop is not a genre it's the music industry of South Korea! K pop has in it rock'n'roll jazz Blues hip hop rap RV EDM ballads and Latin pop and other country music.
It would be cool if you reacted to the video, A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7 which talks about the beginnings of BTS and a little about the k_pop industry and talks about each member individually, I believe it will give you a general idea of this musical niche
I highly recommend BTS Room Live 2021 Festa, which is a live medley that showcases their diverse discography 🤌
i’ll have a look!!!!
@@mazanreactspls post!
There are many things I would like to tell you in this comment, too many, but of the things you need to know is that
'K-pop' is not a music genre, but an industry, it is also referred to simply 'popular music in Korea'.
5.JIMIN ( vocalist ) October 13, 1995 - 28 years old
6. V ( vocalist ) December 30, 1995 - 28 years old
7. JUNGKOOK ( vocalist ) September 1, 1997 - 26 years old
They collaborated with a lot of artists such as: Snoop Dogg, Steve Aoki, Juice WRLD, Wale, Lauv, Fall Out Boy, Warren G,
Jason Derulo, Erykah Badu, Muni Long, Anderson .Paak, Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, Halsey, Becky G, MAX, J.Cole,
NLE Choppa, Kodak Black, Desiigner, Coldplay, Lil Nas X, Charlie Puth, Usher...(+more)
As a group BTS have a huge amount of songs 300+ (only 3 of their songs are entirely in English).
They are all songwriters and music producers,
most of their work is very meaningful, so reading the lyrics is really important.
They make music in a lot of different genres and styles (Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, EDM, Latin Pop, Ballad, ...+).
Each of the members is very different, and all of them make their own solo stuff
so depending on what kind of music you are interested in, you really have a lot to choose from.
You can let me know what genre or style of music is your favorite, and then I will recommend you some songs that you might like, because no matter what it is, BTS has music for everyone.
Also if you want to know more about them I highly recommend you to watch this video that link I will write below,
I think that this is the perfect introduction before you start listening to more music from them:

damn thank you!

When you said you are depressed these days only one thing came in my mind. Being army (bts fandom) we always say "you don't need to find bts, bts will find you when you needed them most " so I think you need bts right now
Welcome to the BTS world 💜
thank you❤️
Hi liked your reaction, I am a 62 year old U.K. lady and I heard BTS back in 2020.
Mic Drop
Fake Love
Dope
On
Blood sweat and tears
Black swan
Also their live versions are incredible.
Looking forward to seeing you check out more BTS if you choose. All the best 💜
awww i’m glad you enjoyed! i’m definitely going to do more so thank you for the suggestions
Not for you to react though, it's just to give you a rough idea how their music sounds like.
th-cam.com/video/wWJ4RuHXP_Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=A6c_RS5kgay5qJtX
Some of their songs have deep lyrics and sometimes requires explanation videos.
Currently all members are in the military for their mandatory military service for 18-21 months. So they will only continue group work after June2025. Do not worry as they have a lot of contents in store😊.
Have fun exploring! 👍☺
damn okay thank you! i didn’t know all of this
Reacting to BTS:
-fake love

-not today

on the list they go!
These guys have been around since 2013 but where thengot big was 2016ish if im correct these guya are massive. They do have other genre's hip hop r&b latin pop ballad and rock as well its absolutely insane
ill look into them!:)
Thanks for this reaction.
Among ARMY, there is a saying that BTS finds you when you need them the most in your life. :)
BTS is consisting of three rappers and four vocalists.
Most of their songs are in Korean, and their music video provides subtitles in several languages, including English.
They make a wide variety of genres of music like Hip-hop, Ballad, R&B, pop, EDM, etc. I'm sure there're quite a few of their 300 songs that suit your taste. :)
If you're interested in their lives, I'd recommend a few. :)
Their live performances are always even better than MVs!

And this is a video of how they practiced for their performance at the Grammys.
You can watch videos of their enlistment day on their official channel, BANGTANTV, and see the seven of them filled with trust and love. :)
Lastly, I think this video is the best to understand each BTS member. ;)

i’ll check them out!
You're right. They are some seriously beautiful men! Not only that, they're also incredibly talented and kind!
they are!
Never thought I heard a k-pop song until now... Never realised the last one was 😳🙈
they’re so good!
@@mazanreacts must admit they are very catchy tunes dude🤘
@@WillvorineTheir English songs came out during the pandemic to cheer up people. So these songs are just poppy, fun but not having to have deep meanings like their other Korean & English mix songs.
Please react to BTS mic drop
it’s going on the list!
Their lyrics and music videos have DEPTH to them, so be sure to put captions on.
thank you for the comment!
Enjoy!
thank you very much!
For a better idea try BTS TINY DESK CONCERT
thank you!
It kind of funny 😅 when you said,i scream, you scream,it a lyrics in one of the boys group Tomorrow By Together 'Ice Cream). They are from the same label as BTS.
oh shiiii😭😭😭
Jungkook of BTS recently released a whole album in english: Golden. You should check out his music videos: Standing next to you, 3D and Seven. If you want a korean one of BTS, start with ON Kinetic Manifesto Film (and turn captions on). It's awesome 💜
i’ll check it out!
Bts and Army will find you and cheer you up when you need that..thanks for reacting to them ...and welcome to the rabbit hole..borahae💜💜💜
thank you!
I am a K-pop Stan like sooo hard!!! I love Stray Kids and BTS!❤
stray kids is up next!
@@mazanreacts omg yessss they are the best!!!
You will fall in love with these boys, we ALL do 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
thank you for the suggestions!!! i appreciate it
@@mazanreactsplease do, because it is genuinely an amazing way to get to know all 7 members, and it will make reacting to their music even better and more meaningful.
Life Goes On is part of their self-produced pandemic album BE and dynamite was included in the tracklist.
i’ll look at them!
Enjoy 💜
oooooooooh i see! i didn’t know it was usually sung in korean hahahaa
@@mazanreacts Yeah, people often get confused when they start with the English trilogy so don't worry, haha
@kuroro9949 i’m very excited to listen to more
Their discography is extensive and diverse. Something for everyone. Permission to Dance is also all in English.
It mostly is in Korean with a little English thrown in. But seriously, the music is so good, it doesn't even matter.
i’ll definitely be checking out more
I would just recommend that you don't talk through the whole video.
I'm glad you're watching BTS because you will not be disappointed.
thanks for the advice!
Butter and Dinemite are two of three BTS's English song's, last one is Permission to Dance.
Bts mostly sing in Korean.
Nice reaction sir, Dynamite was released during the pandemic ta cheer up fans. I am a BTS army since 2016. I would love to see you react to more BTS.💜
i’m definitely going to do more:)
They have themes and trilogies in their discography, which we hope you can slowly explore while they are on "hiatus"
- like The Most Beautiful Moments in Life (exploration of adulthood challenges or youth),
- the Love Yourself theme (about loving others, pain of love and self love),
- The Map of the Soul theme (exploring the topic of human psyche like persona, shadow, ego) ...
the way they link all these themes is like going on a life journey with us using music and lyrics as a bridge to connect.
You ll love their live performance !
Maybe you'd like that - also done during pandemic.
i’ll definitely have a look!
You should try to react to Seventeen killing voice, they're great vocalists
u might!
These songs aren't really indicative of their discography. Their Korean songs give a better understanding of their artistry because they had a hand in writing and producing the majority of them.
aaaah i see, thank you!
See you soon!
riiiight thank you! hope you enjoyed!
Amigdala by agust d it's perfect song.
thank you!
Check out Dope, Fire, Not Today, ON, etc. they have been performing for 10 years.
aaaah okay! thank you
The vast majority of Kpop is in Korean or a hybrid of Korean/English. BTS' discography is primarily hybrid. The English trilogy of Butter, Dynamite, and Permission to Dance were pure English as a way of reaching more people during the lockdown.
riiiight i see
These were one of their happy songs to cheer up the post covid world. BTS is a multi genre world phenomena. Over 730 awards Personally I love the BTS rappers. Try Agust D Daechwitta. J Hopes MORE or if you want something completely different try MIKE DROP and BLACK SWAN make sure you put on the subtitles.
i’ll definitely have a look!
Just when you think their videos are over they're not, & some video themes tie together.
this is so cute❤️
I'm not even part of army, but i thoroughly enjoy bts!❤❤
they’re great!
i’ll definitely check them out more
Check out the song Run BTS live in Busan and Mic Drop, Black Swan....you reacted to 2 of the 3 songs that they released in english. Normally they do sing in Korean with a mix of english lyrics , but any genre you think of, they have done it and did it well.
i’ll look into it:))
Your eyes 👀 are beautiful ❤️ btw thnq for reacting
thank you!
BTS CANTA en coreano, japonés y en grupo solo sacaron tres sencillos totalmente en ingles: butter, dynamite, permission to dance, éste último también con lenguaje de señas.
yes these are cool, you have yet discover many of their amazing songs from their amazing and huge discography!
i’m defo gonna do more!
I recommend u BTS member Jungkook solo songs :) Jungkook- 1. SEVEN, 2. 3D, 3. STANDING NEXT TO YOU 💜💜💜 plz this is so good!!!! And he performed songs from times square! That is also so good
i’ll look at them next!!!
I loved your reaction, I laughed so much at your comment about watching horror movies 😂
I know a few people have already recommended them but I’d just like to add my support to you reacting to Jungkook’s solo music. I think you’d really enjoy his 3 singles in particular though if you like these two tracks.
thank you!!!!
As many have commented BTS is their own entity, so diverse and trendsetters. If you want more BTS, I suggest reacting to
1. MIC Drop Mix with Steve Aoki
2. Black Swan
3. On Kinetic Manifesto Film
I love when they Mix Korean and English in their songs, so usually subtitles are a must. The way the do it is so clever

This song and a few others are English specific, but most of their music is in Korean. Sometimes they do have English mixed in.
oooh okay!
There are only 3 English songs (3rd one is “permission to dance”, pls turn on closed captions after watching those, so you can see the English translations. Other songs has no official videos, you can check the lyric videos.
i’ll look into them!
Hello ! It's really cool to see you react to BTS, Butter and Dynamite, they were made in English to reach the American public, so they have a lot of songs in Korean and BTS have been working in the music field for 10 years, and their discography is huge, it's worth it It's worth researching more deeply because there is a lot of depth in most of their lyrics, you will even find solo songs from each of the members, since I'm an army, I love watching vbideosds from react to BTS and I've seen many become part of the ARMY
we’ll thank you for watching! i’m definitely gonna react to more BTS

You pick a couple of good ones to start with. Butter has almost one billion views on TH-cam. Dynamite has almost 1.8 billion views.
insane views
You should react to Mic Drop (Steve Aoki remix mv) and Black Swan to get a better scope at the kind of music they do. Make sure to put the captions on though. And thank you for reacting to BTS!🙂
i will.
Kpop has very upbeat music so even if for the most part you may not know what they say you will enjoy the beat and most of the chorus.
thank you hahaha, im definitely going to do more thank you for the suggestions!
Porque la mayoría cree que el k-pop es como un ser extraterrestre? Es sólo música coreana, la k es de Korea, si ese país tuvo mucha influencia norteamericana debido a que USA es su aliado, por ende hay ese tipo de intercambio cultural. 🤷🏽
I wouldn’t regard the 3 English songs Butter, Dynamite and Permission To Dance as “Kpop” All were written by westerners the last one by Ed Sheeran.
oooo okay

K pop has in it rock'n'roll jazz Blues hip hop rap RV EDM ballads and Latin pop and other country music.
i did not have captions on!!!
It would be cool if you reacted to the video, A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7 which talks about the beginnings of BTS and a little about the k_pop industry and talks about each member individually, I believe it will give you a general idea of this musical niche
