DC gives you first-hand insight into Harlequins v Leicester Tigers. Which other games should DC dissect for you...domestic, internationals...get your comments in?!
Danny I bloody loved watching you. Seen you at falcons and you were a sniping bugger. I loved you and Mahler. I miss you. Loved loved the tempo you brought to the game. Awesome. Hope you and yours are well
Crazy how quickly rugby changes. When you look at games from only 10 years ago it feels so much less structured and controlled, hats off for players like DC who've adapted their game over the last 15 years. World rugby gets a lot of slack but I think overall they've done a brilliant work at making the sport go in the right direction, I grew up with the rugby from the 2000s and when I re-watch some "old" games from that period it's almost ridiculous how much of a different sport it was, I prefer today's rugby where everything is so much more precise, quick and calculated.
Sat and watched this while waiting for the kids to come out of school (mine, not just random ones). I’d forgotten how good a game it was. Keep up the commentary content Danny, it’s insightful and you’re good at it mate. Well done
Thanks for this Danny I and my family were there that day North stand block M20 just to the left of the posts where Tigers were attacking at the end of the match I have never been so pleased to see Wayne Barnes arm go up for that penalty As a life long Quins supporter this has to be my favourite memory In my mind at least I recall a moment in the second half when Tom Williams was facing a 3 or 4 on 1 around the Quins 10 metre line IIRC he saw it early and came in off his wing to kill it If he had not killed the move and Tigers had scored I think it might have been a different result A great player with a great rugby mind I saw his first match in the first team - a pity that he didn’t stay in the sport
As a Leicester supporter it is hard to take. But you are fair in your remarks. Yes you did play the attacking style in very hot weather. Your career has been a joy to watch as you made the very most off your talent. Good luck with the future. Not all rugby players get such a stellar career.
Mate, i missed out on this game because I didn't pull the trigger in time buing tickets. So good to see George Lowe footage Deec, he got plagued by injury :(

I was at that game. What I remember most clearly was the atmosphere at the stoop later that evening. Like a festival.
Great commentary giving a deep insight from your playing perspective. Amazing legends in both teams - thank you to all.
Its mad seeing how mobile Joe Marler was
Same for Dan Cole with the break and assist.
He used up all his running in his early years!!
I remember Joe Marler making searing line breaks for fun as an ENG U20 Player, had some serious gas in his youth!
Great video, really interesting having the inside insight!
Thanks for this Danny

Faasavalu was unreal at st Helen’s too !!
Aviva, how nostalgic 😍
Nick Evans, Gareth Steenson, Freddie Burns…
Awesome 10s at Prem level (not international)
Steenson probably would’ve played for Ireland if he actually played in Ireland
