Hey Allen......I was trained on my Ricoma White toner to do the below: Heat platen 310 300 seconds Marry 310 120 seconds Use rag to wipe (I love the roller idea I will he trying that) 1st Press on garment 310 30 seconds Cold peel 2nd press 310 15 seconds In the video, you mentioned heating platen and marrying at longer times. Is that from your trial and error, or is the Unicolor different from Ricoma? I hate my printer, but I'm trying to love it and actually use it... BTW I'll see you next week!!!
That was my error while recording I do hear my bottom platten at 310 degrees for 300 seconds sometimes a little longer just to make sure its hot. Sometimes I heat it up again in between marrying differnt sheets to heat it back up again. I also should have said marry a sheet to b sheet 310 for 120 seconds. I correct it in future videos. The process is pretty much the same between the two you can just do more with the icolor white toner tranfer printers and they print bigger. Yup. See you on the 20th right! a few days.
I was so close to buying the ricoma. I have heard many stories but I was waiting to make a decision between XL2 from prestige and Ricoma. I currently have a Prestige R2 and after some tweaking I think I'll stick to this for now. I don't see myself spending money for these printers not to work. I will wait for the technology to get better. Too many horror stories even from the guys that buy Chinese direct or Mimaki etc. I'd rather invest on an Epson f2200 DTG. At least I can sue them if it does not come thru 😅.

Always go with what works best for your situation but on the flip side no risk, no reward.
