- In this brand new series I'm starting the Hardcore Minecraft world I've always wanted! In Hardcore Season 2, I'm challenging myself to build bigger, experiment with gradients more, and build more custom terrain and trees, and in episode one, we've got a lot of grinding to do to get all the tree saplings, diamond armor and tools, and build our Perfect starter house!

i LOVE your starter house this season! i think for the blank wall where your storage is, you could add an oak trapdoor/leaf lattice or two on either side just to break up all that space

I'm so excited for this series. Just like you, I recently started working with gradients and you're doing so much better than me. Your starter house looks amazing!
For the strip mine, you could turn and continue with it in another direction just to avoid setting off shriekers. When you get more iron you could make a minecart rail to make it easier to get to different parts of your mine.
I bet your gradients are so beautiful too!!! I hope over time to be more confident in mine too and I hope you can grow to like yours as well!

NEW SERIES!!! Starting out on powdered snow yet again, eh? But what a beautiful spawn! Cherry grove in a secluded little valley, with a beautiful flower forest, sunflower plains, and a breathtaking mountain vista on the other side. Truly a blessed starting location.
I love the starter house! The gradients look wonderful, and the house looks so cheery and cozy. I love the pop of glazed terracotta too, it plays so well with the foliage accents. The building time lapse also scratched the brain just right. I don't know if you've left the sound in before and I've never noticed, but the fast paced placing of logs, stripping them, towering and breaking the scaffolding was such a lovely accompaniment to the light music.
I'm so excited for this new world of yours. I can't wait to see everything you build and how you test your limits and grow beyond them

I'm so happy you like the house, it's coming along! :D Also I'm trying a new mod (flashback instead of replaymod) for the timelapses, and that one has audio available to record!! Sometimes they may just end up a bit long since it's hard to "speed them" more without the sounds being like, SO wild!! 🤭 I'm glad they made the brain happy!!!
HAHAHA There IS actually a hidden shrieker at the bottom of that ravine I set off (i don't know where it is). Maybe coming back when I have a totem and wool is better. 🤭

I always feel the exact same when I see the blocks next to each other in creative!! 😂 I think once you get them placed on a larger scale and then add the details like windows and flower boxes and stuff it kinda lessens the harsh/weirdness!!! 30:44 I love the way you explain everything about making the house, a simple suggestion that I would suggest to you is that try build a house plan then do the things you like, for example try making the walls gradient like you said. I just suggest that building the house (not decorate yet or do it if you want) to see what you are building or imagining in your mind. To see if it's the thing or the one you like. Love your vids BTW keep it up❤

Amazing start the house looks so cute! Also for the mine I would just switch it to go the other way if I liked the entrance I feel like that’s a lot easier than trying to do it next to an ancient city

Season 2 here we gooooo! Love the new series and the house, oak to sandstone is one of my favourite gradients. I would recommend prioritising an iron farm soon, it makes trading with villagers easier

I love the new starter house! So pretty with all your new animals! If you want some name name suggestions for some of ur animals then I have some! For your 2 donkeys coco and sandy would be cute! For your horse, maybe you could do Sarah? I had trouble of thinking of horse names lol. For your cat I think Chloe would be perfect and your dog could be anything! Spawning in powdered snow is the exact same feeling when I spawned IN WATER for seed 666 on bedrock. I was like who the hell spawns IN the water.
i once made a large biomes world and spawned in ocean, there wasnt a bit of land for over 1000 blocks :')))

35:59 zombie spawners are better than skeleton because you can trade the rotten flesh for emeralds. You can't trade anything from a skeleton. The bows and arrows are useless once you get a good bow with infinity and the bones are only good for bone blocks for building. I really do think a fletcher should trade arrows for emeralds though.
In the early game I’d rather have a skeleton spawner for the bonemeal 😀
@frogcrafting that's a good point! Mine just got so full of stuff I couldn't use, so I went to find a zombie one for emeralds

I think the Attic with the stairs should be your room upstairs like you could have like a hidden Loft and then have the enchanting table down below with the painting in the windows And you should definitely have more storage and you should have way more decorations inside and outside. Make it feel like home and the reason why you should have your bedroom upstairs is so you could have like a balcony to overview everything. The highest point is the best option because you'll be much more safer And the views with all of the shader pack. The much views you can get at the highest point is the best and you can also add another Loft on the other side of the area to create that balcony and to have two little entry points. One for your bed and then one for like a hangout space and then all you have to do is go downstairs to the enchanting room and then right there it is because once as you went upstairs to that spiral stairs that led up to that little fenced offed area I immediately thought that would be a perfect place to put your bed 💜🩷💜

43:45 i think Trader Llammas despawn, even if you tame them, so i normally put a carpet on them and they stay! You can shift click them to add a carpet.
On Java they dont despawn if you tame them! I think I just forgot to tame 2 of them! :D

Ohh that's a good idea too!! Will jot that down for the ideas pile. The stops for ores is definitely happening no matter which "style" of stripmine we do! :D
