  • I love Christmas. Getting my living room ready for Christmas was a goal this year and I got there! I spent the holiday in my little house with my dog. I relaxed and enjoyed life with candy, movies and a lot of sleep. It was a much needed and I had a lovely time!
    Thank you for watching, and thank you for reading.

    It's so wonderful to see your genuine reactions when you light up the Christmas lights around your house and also on the inside. It simply reminds me of myself as Christmas is my favorite time of the year. That spirit and enthusiasm combined with that precious kind of silence around that time is so fulfilling. Thank you for bringing that feeling into my heart and soul, I cannot wait for the Christmas season to start thanks to watching your video. Keep shining and smiling Mathilde, it's a beautiful gift to this world. 😇💫🌻

    That old music bring me memories of my childhood. I use to live in a town with only once tv channel. And for reason of price, most of the broadcasting where old cartoons (Willie coyote and so on..) but also old films (Black and white) hence lot of Continental dancing and jazz, old musicals with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and others I do not remember. My mother was fond of this films as where her childhood and teenager cinema movies. Now she move into Bollywood films. Which is basic still dancing and singing. Very nice video.

    I really enjoy your videos and the fact you take on so much by yourself. I am, however, often confused why you start projects and don't seem to finish them? Like not finishing painting the ceiling or around the windows, then not completing the trim around the windows? It seems like cleaning and setting the living room up, then having to go back and finish up all these small projects, is a waste of time and energy. I think it would make everything seem that much more overwhelming when you know you have to keep going back and completing tasks instead of doing them until they are finished, then moving on.

    • @MathildeHenriksen

      Thank you!💛 This is a great questions and there are several reason for this. The biggest reason is, as you mentioned yourself, that I take on too much by myself. In this particular video I did not finish the ceiling because I hurt both my neck and wrist, and it was too dark due to polar nights. I almost completed the trim around the windows, they were suppose to be in a natural wood color, but I ran out of material so some boards is missing. I live very far away from the hardware store/lumber yard and don't have a big budget, so I have to do things little by little. That is why I rarely have amazing before/after shots, I'm afraid, which I know many people miss from my videos. Decorating before it is finish does not bother me since I wanted to have a cozy Christmas and not live in a renovation chaos during the holiday, -and living in the renovations do I actually find more exhausting than not having the room completely finish :) I hope that made sense💛

    Finally, a new video with moments of your happiness and your pleasure from the results of actions). How is your health now?
    We do a lot of unnecessary and harmful things that we are not adapted as a biological species. We work to buy food, drinking water and home - something that even wild animals get for free. The price for everything is our life, because only by spending our life can we get money. We study a lot to eventually become dependent. We spend a lot of energy on cooking food that should itself be a source of our energy. We clean a lot and drown in routine. We dig the soil without seeing that in the wild it is loose and fertile without our participation.
    We are links in an evolutionary chain and our creator is Nature. The environment and the chosen way of life determine who we are and what the next generations will be like. I think that the real success of one generation's life is the realization of one's own abilities (not narrow professional ones) and the greatest possible self-sufficiency. And the success of life as a series of generations is the continuation of eternal evolutionary development. What do you think about it?
    I imagine you in your own paradise: you don't work anymore, you don't depend on anyone, you do what you want and relax whenever you want, you have everything you need. And you have a lot of free time to think about life and enjoy it)
