Love Brooks & Dunn. This here is a hillbilly joint. Their most accessible song for somebody not used to country is “Neon Moon,” in my opinion. I’ve never met anybody who doesn’t like that song. Also, it’s high time you check out the legendary Vince Gill. Any song, they’re all good.
Neon Moon is the greatest and I agree with the statement about nobody hating it. I have friends who hate country, I show them Neon Moon and they all add it.

Boot Scootin' Boogie i think simply refers to cowboys & girls dancing and usually in your boots you tend to slide around moreso than step.
