Thank you for be bringing up the fact that Japan was like: "Screw you, onii-chan! Imma go team with Itary and Germany!" and went on Italy and Germany's team. Also I didn't here what Japan said.
Japan said: "I wasn't aware that America-san was using them". The background video for this is posted, you can hear the recording much clearer there. America says, before Japan: "Oh, Hawai, I needed those."
lol XD England said I will by physical force and on the screen it said censored lol I wounder what was suppose to be on there hehehe kensekensekens XD anyway I love this and I love the pictures that they used they r good at drawing XD I wish I was there XD !!!!!!!!!
@puellanerdii Your lyrics are freaking genius! Best parody re-write I've ever seen! And so historically correct! Major props for using a song from 1776, by the way!
I keep watching this again and again. I guess I like the singing. Good job fitting the Allies' lyrics to "But Mr. Adams"! Nice cosplays and drawings on screen too!
Must have hit a nerve there XD To say that and the fact is that The Great-Britain was only one in Europe (of those countries that were in the war) that wasn't invaded by Germany xD
1:51 "It's Versailles, imagine that one if you can", "Oh, I do" 2:12 "by famine AND by civil war" 2:37 "Hold them off 'til winter, and you'll pound 'em flat!" 2:45 "It's that thing about Versailles, did you know that?" "I had not heard!" 3:05 "My men would rather not provoke hostility" Typo: "Mobility", not "Nobility" 3:32 "Darn it, England!" 4:13 "Oh, god, Hawaii! ...I needed those!", "I was not aware America-san was using them", "Oh, it's SO ON!!!" Still can't make out the rest. :(
I don't even know this anime (because I'm old and behind the times) but you get HUGE POINTS for using 1776, for writing your own lyrics and for your background, which was hilarious. Good work!
omg, htat was hilarious, whoever was in that cosplay group, I give a big pat on the back and a huge hug for coming up with that skit ~from, a chibitalia cosplayer, desu yo~
@kittygirl123100 That's the point, they haven't been in Hetalia yet... BUT THEY NEED TO BE. Finland isn't just some helpless little uke, he's actually pretty strong. I really really REALLY want to see Sniper Finland...
@Zutara4everandever Perhaps Hawaii is represented by those more delicate parts beyond Florida? Japan did mention something about America "not using them"....
Wow, I pretty much misheard all of France's lines. OTL You guys did so awesome! Your version of the song is, in my opinion, a lot catchier than the original. XD By chance, would you happen to have an mp3 version I could put on my iPod? lol
i just recently watched 1776 for the first time and let me tell you.....,.. i nearly fucking cried as this came back to me more vividly than the memory of my brother's wedding
Okay. So, since I'm obsessively awkward like whoa, I spent the last hour or two TRYING to decipher the lyrics. This includes multiple listenings, looking up1776 lyrics, looking up "England" in multiple languages, and occasionally plugging in my own logic. Even so, there were some lines I just gave up on, and others I'm not confident about at all. So any help with correcting these is welcome! (If we can get the full lyrics, I'm tempted to sub this piece of amazing) Pease don't maim me. XD
The "I am le occupied/have a nap" divide of France and "My army size is great but lacking in mobility / and Finland's might is really quite a liability" were the funniest bits. Can an American post the transcript please? I can't really understand what's being said and it looks amazing!
I'm kinda 'meh' about Hetalia (never got into it), but this skit is positively epic. The video in the back is a bonus. Who did that? (I was one of the emcees. The one in red. We were really enjoying this backstage.)
@kittygirl123100 Hm... I was thinking of cosplaying as Sweden, maybe I could find me a Finland and a Russia... This is a very interesting idea. Maybe I will!
J: I wasnt aware that at this time he was using them. A: ???????? O: The world is going to war! Yeah....I'm really NOT SURE AT ALL about half of those lyrics. :( But I hope someone appreciates the effort I took into trying to recreate them...even if half of them are probably wrong...>_> *crawls away to die*
E: Oh, come now, America! Youre looking for the chance to charge in and be a hero, arent you? Why, you have ten times the standing army of anyone still standing! Including me. Im not bitter! A: .yeah, sure. E: Now, youll do it, USA! A: Wholl make me? You, UK? E: I! A: You. How? E: By physical force if necessary! A: [something about physical forces] You and what army? E: BLAST! A: [England?] Im going home. Japan: *PEARL HARBOR!!!* A: Ahh, Hawaii!!
(Warning: This will take a lot of room) England: All right, chaps, its time for us to decide how to go about crushing the Axis powers. We must pool our resources and reclaim stability on the continent. So, who will lead the charge? France: Angleterre [French: England], surely you should fight them. To your money and resources we defer. E: Is that so? Well, if Im the one to do it, hell blitz his tank right through it. Its that thing about Versailles, you know that sir. F: Oui, I do!
@MegaPeachPrincess hey u should make that as a youtube show, just need a few friends dressing up and the finland fans will press the like button...like me
