According to psychology, the louder someone is about their depression, the less likely they are to be truly suicidal.
Now, this is true most of the time, but it causes a big problem, because there comes a point, when even the proudest of people will call out for help. And because everyone thinks "if they say they're depressed, they just want attention", well, then those cries for help go unanswered.
I guess what I am trying to say, is don't always assume someone is attention seeking... Sometimes, that person has finally reached their breaking point, and is trying anything just to get someone to hear them.
Not everyone who is suicidal actually wants to die. Most just want the battle {with depression} to stop, and suicide just feels like the only solution.

They would probably post a video saying that they themselves are feeling depressed. IDK if thats true for all people but if I was depressed Id straight up say it
