as someone whos been selling at the carboot since i was young. The reason i will give some people ebay and amazon prices, because I know fora fact they are a reseller. I cant be giving someone something for a few quid, just for them to turn around and mark it up. especially when there are people who want that Item for themselves and would cherish it more than a reseller

Of course, it’s not a criticism, it was just a feature of the video. People sell for different reasons, some to clear out and some as a business. Don’t forget when I (as a reseller) buy something and mark it up and resell it, it also takes a lot of time and effort to so do so. Research, Listing, Photos, Packing, Posting, Fees, Taxes and Returns to name but a few. I would assume that’s probably why most just sell at a boot sale cheaper, and that’s absolutely fine by the way but to get the highest price you usually have to put in the most effort. I think these facts are often overlooked about resellers.

The thing is with jigsaw puzzles. I will only buy ones that are sealed in the box. Don't forget it it always the last piece of the puzel that is missing. Great vids keep it up.

I once had a lady swear her puzzles were all complete. Of course there were pieces missing and my kids were so disappointed. After that I never buy any puzzles thar aren't in a sealed box.

You can use hydrogen peroxide and sunshine (haha) or a uv lamp to get the colour back on the Commodore calculator. My brother in law restores old Amigas etc and they comes up mint. If you can be bothered, might bump up the sales price.

Tbh I noticed this at last weeks carboot sale, I got Trolled badly for pointing it out in my last video.
People forget you have fees and tax to pay - plus the time it takes to shift the stock.

I sell a higher price to resellers, simply because they take advantage of my prices. Lets say theres a kid who really wants a toy im selling, but they cant buy it cuz some adult came along brought it and is now selling it at ebay prices. It sucks
