I can't say it's easy to remember the abilities of every of the +1015 Pokémon (excepted if you're a pro strat player), but the types is something you shouldn't fail like that when you're a Pokémon youtuber and do this kind of video seriously...

It's been an incredible ride watching Vinny's first channel grow to where it's at now and having seen the birth of his second channel and it having become insanely successful. I feel like a proud estranged uncle xD.
I gotta say, Ryan earned no roast. He was clearly gonna lose, so he made the strat to pull out a double knockout. The rules of the system may say Vinny won, but it really was a tie, especially since it was Ryan's strategy that pulled it off.

Game wise, that move is pretty much like KO-ing with Explosion/Self-Destruct/Etc Etc. Since you go down first, the opponent is considered the winner always.

But D-bond didn't give the win because Ryan's mon hit zero HP first. I think it's the same with Explosion and Self Destruct. They make the opponent's mon hit zero HP first, then yours does so you win even though both Pokemon are KO'd.

the first 5 turns of their battle featured the most room temperature IQ i've ever seen in a pokemon battle. How did they both get master ball lmao. Still love you Vinny but come on man. EQ against heracross is resisted and stone edge wouldn't miss cuz hone claws plus it's neutral and STAB bonus. Then not going for crunch again on the slowbro was weird to me as well, but that one wasn't as bad
