There's no F#5 during this era) She cracked here and she wasn't going to hit an F#5, she always hit an E5 in that particular phrase
The moment when she hit/crack an alternative whistle note blended with chest note F#5 and F#6 which makes the performance sounds awesome
this is probably the one and only crack we can listen from mariah :)

After tour after tour and album after album and performance after performances w such a fragile voice and nodules i think a few cracks is ok lol. Did you hear those amazing vocals and riffs, and that fucking low note!
Lol it was really a crack but Mariah's voice is so unque that it almost sounded just like a whistle. Lol.

She didn't crack, she jumped an octave because she knew she couldn't belt F#5. She did the same on BET while singing VOL. Very clever from her.
It was a vocal crack,but it happened to be on key
