I respect the Nergigante for simple existing. It fights with no special elements, no magic, or army destroying moves. All it uses, and all it needs is brute strength, and the determination of a God. Both of which it has plenty of.

No elements which I like but WHY does the actual weapons have dragon on them it just makes me upset
I love how Nerg's reputation went from people being on the fence about his design and fighting style from videos, to mad respect for a dragon that *will* fuck you up when you actually fight it.

@@swordkingx4874 truth. The only thing people forget is his lore makes him absolutely able to wreck any elder dragon. He punches the ground shoulder deep, and has enough intelligence to play dead, I think he even holds back against elder dragons weaker than him. I have been diving deep into his lore. There is so much in game hints at Nergigante and Ruiner Nergigante's true feats and strength. We just overlooked it all, because we didn't like Ruiner Nergigante stealing our Shara Ishvalda kill.

My favorite thing about Nergigante is the fact that if he gets into a turf war he'll slam the other dragon down ands proceed to wax the floor with them, he does not fuck around
When can Nergigante be with other monsters? I'm pretty sure you only see him in his quests and there are literally 0 other monsters in that
TheBloodBanshee when you do his optional quest or the optional quests for the other dragons theta a chance that he'll appear x or another dragon, I had it happen to me when I was farming for his tail. Other than that is Peru much one on one, the same gos for the other elder dragon quests

@@gabrielnaftan2721 while they are smart(most of them) you cannot tell me that when an elder dragon stand's on a trap it doesn't work smart or not if they go within its effective range the trap should still work though not as well depending on the elder dragon not to mention smart or not monsters can still escape traps anyways unless their too big for the damn thing,lets think of it this way i could have an uninteligent person and a smart person in a room and i have a gun no matter your inteligence if i shoot the bullet at you its not gonna say their too smart their going to get hit by it unless they doge

My brother once told me that he heard someone say that the nergigante fight is special because it rewards you for meeting his ferocity with your own. If you try to play it safe he will punish you, but if you hit him with all you have, you will triumph, and I fell that is kind of true.

You know, when you're playing a game, you never have the chance to enjoy the music it offers to play, but on youtube where you can hear covers of it as well, you can enjoy it all you want
Some of the slower monsters you can enjoy their music, like Val Hazak's or Deviljho's for example. But its hard to pay attention to the music with monsters that got fast un-telegraphed like Nergi's leaps or all of Velkhana's attacks.

Negigante is one of my favourite elder dragons and hearing this in metal just made me want it's armour even more.

Bro, Nergigante is literally a GOD. This guy just one-shoted me with the best armor that I had unlocked in that moment. I won just because Great Sword can save you from one-shots.
