7th Grade, Lesson 16: How can we use Number Sense to solve multi-step geometry problems?
In this video you will learn to use systems to solve word problems with all four operations. I CAN model and solve word problems with rational numbers and integers.
Criteria for Success
1. Demonstrate use of SOLVE system for word problems
2. Represent the situation with an accurate and valid expression
3. Use number sense to simplify an expression with order of operations to find dimensions of polygon
4. Calculate area or perimeter using formulas
