The sai blades definitely will go all the way into his hands, took some careful movement but was able to do it even without heating. But yes the blades do feel susceptible to breakage so be careful!
Hey Dan if you're planning on leaving Raph posed with his sais in between his fingers then I would use the hot water trick. Heat or boil some water then drop his hands in for about a minute or 2. When the plastic is soft enough you should be able to open his hands easily.
Aww! no love for Master Splinter? Would have loved to have seen him done in this style. There are not that many good looking Splinter sculpts out there.
Love how bulky and ('lost the word'-up) the turtle figure is. Kind of reminds me of the 95-Star Wars wave with pumped up figures, except this translates much better.
10:35 what I did was heat up the hand in some worm water and then bent the thumb over the weapon and that's a good method if you aren't going to be removing the weapons from his hands any time soon

some of the issues you mentioned are frustrating at that price point, but then again I always joke they do not intend for people to open them or use them lol

I was pretty excited to get this Robin figure. I took it out of the package and the knee joint snapped the first time i tried to bend it. Pretty disappointing
I went through two of these packs before i found a good one. first set, raphs foot fell off and would not stay on. Robin from that set had a super loose head, it wobbled big time and wouldn't stay up. I managed to exchange it for another set but the Raph in that one had two left feet. Exchanged that for another one and finally got a good set. lol. Pretty rocky start but all the other packs i've got since have been good with no issues. If you plan on buying just give them a good look before you pay. Gamestop was pretty good about exchanging any defective sets for new ones.
I haven't opened mine yet but my Robin head wobbles in the box when I shake it! It can turn side to side in package. Thinking I should exchange for another myself.
I think that they should make more of these packs like they can make joker and snake joker or maybe joker and Harley and joker or snake joker and wolf Harley that’s what I think
I think they could have executed the figure better especially with their weapons not so brittle and with Robin and being able to hold on to his staff the figures aren't that good if you think about it I mean the style don't get me wrong it's amazing but I put a weapons really
Man this whole line got ugly lose joints around the legs HUGE HUGE down fall for me. I honestly returned them all cause of that reason can’t even stand them with out having a heart attack at 3am cause they just want to fall over

I was able to get his sai in the right hand too. It took some time and moving the hand a bit, but got it done.

If you heat up the thumb with a hairdryer you can bend it up a little. So the Sy weapon can fit. I think you’re nitpicking...

Pop the hands off and put them in some warm/hot water. It will make the fingers pliable to put the weapons inside
And it's not like you can just change the weapons because those are exclusive DC versions of the TMNT weapons
