Thank you...but you say Pf is the density of the fluid but its not p its rho. It's a Greek letter. P usually stands for Pressure in Physics. if i'm wrong correct me.
Dear Sir............Example Problem : One hydraulic cylinder, the end is connected to the Threaded rod so that it can be rotated. Cylinders with a bore size of 18 mm, 10 mm rod and a stroke of 300 mm single acting in a condition that is filled with oil. If the cylinder is rotated 10 mm. a. How to calculate it b. What is the gauge pressure
A uniform cylindrical block of wood floats in water with one-third of its height above the water level, in a liquid of relative density 0.8, what fraction of its height will be above the liquid level?
cuz the total of iceberg is 1 and a part of it(that is above) is smaller and a decimal it is kinda like finding out how many pieces did u get of one pie? you gotta take the total as 1 and the part taken by u is 1/4 or 0.25 Hope you understood!👍👍👍
Does partially submerged and floating has a difference I'm confused cuz Archimedes priciple says upthrust of a partially submerged object= weight of the liquid displaced but law of flotation says upthrst =weight of the object
Look I also had the exact same doubt but I cleared it by giving away my 3 hours to this and I have concluded to a point so I am giving a disclaimer that I am not sure if it's the answer to your q but this was the most I could have thought of I agree that Archimedes Principle says that upthrust = weight of liquid displaced but the law of floatation says that if a body is floating in any liquid then the upthrust is equal as the weight of the body and it's true because the body can only float and stay still at that point if the force acting on it becoz of liquid (upthrust) = the (mg) or weight of that body and I guess you might be thinking that what if it is completely submerged in the liquid then the upthrust will be different and it's correct but the thing is that it's density is constant and everytime you will place it in a liquid that you were putting into it then it everytime gets partially submerged in it and therefore it everytime displaces the same weight of water and it everytime gets the same upthrust which is equal to the weight of body (becoz it is still at one place and the net force acting on it is zero) Hope I helped 🙂🙂
Sir, I have doubt in 1st question you solved. You had taken submerged volume of object upon total volume of object which is equal to 0.894 g/cm3. Then what is the value of total volume (Vo)

Dude, you are like superhuman. Thanks for the lessons
U made it so simple for me ! Thanks soooo much!
Had little knowledge about it.... thank you for your help sir... Much love from Zambia (Africa)

Such a perfect explanation ✌️.
It took me 2 hours thinking how to solve my homework , then this video saved my day😇😇😇
My first time being lost watching these videos
helped me so much, thank you
Am from Ethiopia dude you're sooooooooo great
YOU ARE THE BEST THANK YOU SO MUCH
perfectly explained
You cleared my 4 day confusion.........
Well explained.
Thank You very much!! If you were sitting in front of me right now I might have hugged you really hard.
Thank you...but you say Pf is the density of the fluid but its not p its rho. It's a Greek letter. P usually stands for Pressure in Physics. if i'm wrong correct me.
You are correct. Thank you
it does not matter!! as long as he uses Pf as the density... Of The fluid!! but for him pf is like rho 😊😁😁
Yeah you are correct
7:15
For that I used
X = density of the metal
Xkg/m^3
----- = .7
13’600 kg/m^3
Xkg/m^3 = (.7) (13’600 kg/m^3)
Is that correct?
ya you are correct you can take 70% as ratio between the density of the body to liquid
You saved my exam, and im not even English XD
for question 3, Don't we need to convert the height in cm to m?
Yes because it is fraction then
It cancel out
Anybody watching it in 2025???😅
Its still 2024, I ll come back next year if I still need to review about archimedes principle
I'm from 2025

Where did you get the 1, that you subtracted to the fraction of iceberg beneath under the surface of the water?
cuz the total of iceberg is 1 and a part of it(that is above) is smaller and a decimal

So helpful 😎😎
Thankyou!!
Hey how do you derive (p_f)(V_s) = (p_o)(V_o) on 6:13 ??
On the last problem wouldnt you have to convert cm to m to get the correct answer?
yes, he made a mistake
doesn t need to because the ratio of the unit will cancle itself, therefore give you the same answer.
How did u get that 10m³😢
Does W mean weight of object?
Yes
You won't believe but this actually came to an exam of 8th class.
which country bruh? china?!!
Which app have you used for making this video? Which writing app?
its paint from windows its free and good
In example 3.
how come that the length turned 10cm in oil, and 5 cm in water? Can someone enlighten me?
thank you!
Its showing the length of the block submerged in the water and oil.
Its just a part of the question, there's no need to worry the exam will provide all these measurements for calculations.
Thank you ...
How come that the volume of a wooden cube is Ah? isn't it s3?

What's the mean of F?

Hi why 1-0.895 to get the fraction about
👏👏👏
Sir, I have doubt in 1st question you solved.
You had taken submerged volume of object upon total volume of object which is equal to 0.894 g/cm3.
Then what is the value of total volume (Vo)
assume total volume as 1cubic meter then you can get Vs=0.894 and volume of not submerged part becomes 1-0.894=0.106
great
I love u
