Did the update today, and will be bringing the Deus2 out to the beach tomorrow! Wondering if the new software update will make any difference around the beach. Your video looks encouraging.! 👍
Under options, scroll down until you find audio, press select and scroll down until you get to audio type, then use your plus and minus keys to scroll over until you find high square.
Hey scott. I use your coin program almost exclusively on the D2 lately. I understand if I update this will be deleted. My question is.. Can I just put it right back in or will there be any changes recommended? Thanks
Today I went hunting with the new the update. I was using the General program full tones and 14 kHz. This setup is recommended by Calabash for coin shooting. This program is a beast. It is a totally different story with Deus 2 now and it is so pleasant to use full tones.
Ha Scott I really didn’t believe it would come out this is should be big update for xp now with Mac I downloaded it not used yet, 😂😂I leave this to you 👍👍
Thank you. I’m going to England in September and I don’t want my batteries to die while I’m out detecting for 8-9 hours I have never had a battery issue with my D2 but I sure don’t want it to happen on my trip. Thank you again.
The only thing I'm disappointed with is that they didn't move the ID of nickels away from pull tabs. Heck, my Harbor Freight 9 detector will pick out a nickel !!!
New update….. ok I think all that time was spent on non beach hunters! In my opinion black sand is way more unstable! The coil is not as precise as it was. And to top it off go run your machine over a new tent peg! The false peaks are awful and the TDI is between 80-99 ! I spent 4 hours tonight playing with all the settings to get this to stop! No joy! They really screwed up the machine for us Beach hunters! If I can’t figure out how to fix this tent peg problem I will be reverting to the last update!
@@MentalMetal evidently about 50% of us got a bad update and I mean bad! Evidently if you reinstall the update it will clear it all up! I reinstalled the update and just need to hit the beach to see what’s what.

Your soil must be pretty inert. I struggle on a 6" dime and 8" 1/2. No issues in better soil.
Its weirrd right buffalo nickel rings 61,v nickel 62 and reg nickel 63 or 64
Holy moly😂👏👏👏👍

Its a good update my friend.
I have a question.
Will using the 40 use the battery up faster than the 14?
Lower frequencies eat the battery faster, so 14khz will be the most power hungry of the max frequencies.

I'm getting 66ish for pull tabs and 60-63 for all nickels. Seems good to me.
@@MentalMetal I checked about a dozen pull tabs and they got from 61 to 72. General program, 14 hz max setting.
Gotcha thanks for sharing!
