Marine epoxy is where it's at. Back in the day the softball bat called the Mutant by Worth used to "telescope" where the handle would slide into the barrel. Marine epoxy fixed that issue and never had one come apart again.
You needed a piece of sand paper to wrap around the bat to shave it down and a bar clamp to squeeze it together. Or maybe get one end cold to shrink the aluminum then put it together
I read a study where science has proven that the amount of blade that a man uses while cutting with a hacksaw is the exact length of his.. nevermind...lol
Yes, I think that might have been the first besr comp? I was trying to do research on that, if so I have the first and last (or one of the last year) besr comps ever made. Also trying to get a higher velo pitching machine running too
Its called the Heater Pro Real Baseball machine. Its okay if you just want to hit, but it takes a while to get accuracy dialed in and going much over 40mph really gets wild and hard to adjust. If you dont expect too much from it, i think its good enough and easily portable. I use a 300w battery inverter to power it
@@andrewbats8523 they are essentially the same bat, the yellow one is more nostalgic. But my absolute favorite was the OG easton omen xl which is also the same bat. So i guess to answer your question, whichever one is cheaper and easier to find lol
@@andrewbats8523 get a 32 inch drop 10 orange mako skinny barrel one it's the 2014 or 2015 model they are fairly cheap on sideline swap they easily out hit any utrip bat on the market today when they are well broken in they just go nuclear lol
this is hard to watch from a engineering/design point. Cut the nub on the handle off, cut it higher up on the barrel on the white bad, slide the handle through the cap side of yellow.... epoxy the ends on the inside. boom good hitting
I hate to agree with the haters on this one but this is a hard watch, not much thought put into it or planning it seemed and then it wasent even that entertaining. I think you could have something here if you can find a way to pull it off and get some legit exit velo out of it but there needs to be something funny or cool. It was basically you cutting a hype fire and another bat in half then constantly putting it back together with a hammer while dodging your pitching machine.

“Time blue, I need to get the hammer my bats feeling wobbly again”
Definitely not getting ejected
Last words
you are not getting the warranty replacement on that thing
🤣 I should see what they say if I claim it
Pshh they’ll just rip you off and issue a 49” bat 💀🤣😭
Your videos are awesome
This is the better hype
Even better if I shave it 🤨
Super cool you should do a 35 inch bbcor
He already did that
@@AussieMG he did

I'll try that, I have one more thing to try with this bat so I'll try the bar clamp
Marine epoxy works good on bats
You should try and see if you could fix the telescoping problem with the goods

Finish your sentence, coward
Try to make a two piece louisville slugger atlas that would be sick
You need to drill through both pieces and put a good sized pin through it to hold it together.
Can you make a video on your miken freak besr

This was a hard watch. Ahout like wacthing eric sim trying to make concrete gear but he is at lwast funny when doing it all.
What pitching machine do you use? would you recommend it?

Try the easton xl1 skinny barrel
The orange or yellow?
