I had a chance to go visit my good friend Fofo who owns a company called AgroLife. The company specializes in selling organic seedlings. Fofo is a very knowledgeable brother who uses his knowledge of technology to apply to the agricultural industry.
He really knows his stuff and you can tell from the video. We are hopeful that Fofo will be a key person to help manage the organic farm at Migrating Culture Crossing. Feel free to contact his company at 0272439910 or 0241284665 and let him know Eric sent you.
To learn more about Fofo and his company AgroLife, be sure to view my latest video at • Visiting An Organic Fa... . Also, visit the Migrating Culture Crossing website at www.migratingculturecrossing.com if you're looking to purchase a home in a self-sufficient community in Ghana.

Thanks for introducing us to Fofo. I hope your able to get him down to MCC. He is obviously very knowledgeable. Combining both knowledge of plants and technical skills is an awesome combination.

I'd love to meet Fofo. I wanted to bring Jamaican fruits to Ghana but it seems Fofo has many of them already in Ghana...wonderful.

@VOUSTUBER, I think you should go ahead and bring some fruits too for your prospective property/compound, to enrich your community.
Most of the fruits in Jamaica are not originally from the Island. Slave masters would travel back and forth with a selected slave back to the Motherland to transport certain fruits and vegetables to the Island for the slaves to consume. For example, the Sorrel is exclusively a West Afrikan plant; and traces of it were found in the bellies of the mummies of the Black Pharaohs.
The #Aleefoor aka #callaloo is also exclusively West Afrikan, as well as the Ackee which all Ghanaian children were taught not to touch or open due to its poisonous nature. But our people in the Caribbean found a way around it and turned it into delicious recipes.
Isn’t it amazing that the custard Apple can only be found in West Afrika too?
Ackee can be found at Ridge, Legon, parts of the Volta region etc.

I liked the movie "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind" too! I think it was based in Malawi, if I'm not mistaken. Thank you as always for such interesting and informative content, Eric.

The leafy green called ‘#Gboma and the
#Gboma-toga are the origins of the US Collard greens. I also know that taken-Afrikans brought the turkey berries to the US as a medicinal source for the treatment of anemia.
