I had two favourites, the Geometric heart design and Oscar! :) FYI (Hope it helps): The reason the cracks occurred was because air bubbles were still left after you coated the bowl. In order to avoid this just wedge the clay nicely before you coat or create anything, lesser cracks will occur ;)

The air dry clay probably cracked because air dry clay does have some shrinkage, so if you mold it around a solid object, it can't shrink in, and it cracks. That can also happen even if it's not molded around an object.

It cracked because as it dried it shrunk and the pot base was in the way so it couldn't shrink so it cracked
