Dude... now this is cool... now if only we had these in the United States and they can tell how much money we get back when we recylcle the bottle...... THIS WOULD BE AWESOME.
Coming from Michigan you would get $3.10 back in bottles because each return is .10 cents that includes glass, plastic, and aluminum bottles and cans. We started this in 1976
Initiatives like that are about forming positive habits and implementing them in peoples life, not about making every single machine like that. Sometimes just simply showing that something isn‘t so bad/ is an option/ would be better for x without much effort is enough to make some people do that in the future.
Volkswagen IS literally giving us ideas about how we can make this world a functional and a fun place.
This is a really cool idea
sadly expensive ideas
@@obedulloa6219 but it is worthy bro. If it makes happy, it isn't expensive :)
@@XYZ-by9yw try to convince a government like that, since this kind of facilities are paid by the government
True... Imagine these being part of our everyday life

hello comment from the past, and welcome person who forgot about this to 2021!
The cool thing is: This is normal now 😁
(Sadly not the arcade thing, but many bottles are made to recycle and can be given back at the store)

Same
Imagine some guy speedrunning this arcade...
"One man, against 426 bottles"
Seeing people having smiles in their faces while throwing garbage is so wholesome.
i would destroy the high score on that thing
If anyone is wondering what the piece (sOnG) in the end is called:
Camille Sait-Saëns: Carnival of the animals: XII. Fossils
To make it better, you could add name of the highest scorer, that'll create a competition and everybody loves to compete.
and I just found this after 11years 😭😰
Same...
11 years ago but TH-cam still don't recommend this to millions of people.
Welcome back to the episode of TH-cam recommendations
In finland we recycle the bottles in stores and get 0.10-0.40€ per bottle
We do this in Michigan, USA also for .10 cents which was started in 1976
@@rebeccaoconnor6938 Ayyy Im in Michi too
In Germany it is the same for plastic bottles and cans. We do get 0.25€ per bottle or can.
Holy crud rich time
Lol, got one recommendation today. Now I have watched these videos for half an hour! 😜
Me watching this, sitting next to my collection of 31 empty bottles...

@@delilah4694 There are only eight states that participate in the recycling of bottles and those other states only get .05 cents back on their returns
@@rebeccaoconnor6938 I'll remember that if I'm ever in Michigan--best state to recycle my bottles! ;)

Yes because William Shakespeare lived in the future.
TBH I wish we had this in the uk as we have so much shit here.
But how much are we saving if it's running on electricity all day and night? Get it solar powered maybe.
Great...😂.hopefully the fun will not wear off with the time! And the neighbours will not feel annoyed by those gaming sounds!
Project machines like that are usually removed after some time, so i don‘t think it was a big problem for them.
Volkswagen your geniuses

Americans are laughing at this because the bottles are all going to Chinese landfill.

That's unfair. People who dont have that many bottles have a disadvantage.
