The improvement to Daniel’s mechanics this year, especially his ball control in the air, took me completely by surprise. If he can refine his 3v3 decision making he’s got a real shot to become the best player in the world.
He always had that in him and you could see that when he played for ssg, but joining g2 has given him a massive boost in confidence leading him (and all of g2 for that matter) to believe in themselves more when they choose a particular play and commit to it. Same previous daniel but the different team dynamic and environment has made all 3 players of g2 the monsters we all believed they can be
@@moayad_zhfr dans always been good. I’ve been watching him since he first stepped up into the 1v1 scene back on feers channel, and you could always see that his mechs were on another level. Back then he was hitting double and triple resets like they were nothing. He’s always been good I just don’t think arsy and retals were as good as his new team
Yeah I think Dan has always had the skill it’s just that he’s matured quite a bit in terms of trusting his teammates more and has a better vision for the game
Great video again, IMO! I rly like u showing mistakes as well as good plays :) Everybody makes mistakes, especially in RL, even the pros :S And your level headed, objective and high quality empirical type of gameplay analysis totally hits my sweet spot, gives me those good Jonnyboi_i vibes :D
I really like how you brought up his mistakes, unlike most channels. It's the mistakes that make us, viewers, understand more about rotations and positioning. Great channel and video!
anyone else catch daniels boost level getting down to 9 then going back up another point to 10 in the clip starting at 1:19 doubtful that he is the only player that gets this advantage but still something to look at and think about.
It's funny you talk about how G2 hasn't been able to mesh defensively, and you are correct, and yet they are still the number one defense in North America 😅
So Daniel's offense is excellent (This is an understatement) .. I always thought he was a fantastic defensive player! Any EXCLLENT DEFENSIVE players you would recommend watching? Would you recommend Joruez or someone like Taraco?
he is; its just his offense is so good his defense is really his only thing he has a "weakness" in. don't get it twisted tho, he's always been considered one of the best goal line defenders ITW, especially when he plays 1v1
1:30 zen is a master in that regard as well. It is one of the biggest aha moments I had while watching pros utilizing the second jump in a way I never have even thought about
idk if you are joking but spinning 180 degree with your back facing the ball so you have to preflip to catch the ball midair without anyone challenging and dunking you isn't a common way of dodging a demo. and there was no demo in sight before he spined out his car (jack literally didn't touch the ground yet and daniel was sideways) if he just took into the air with that bob he would have been fine.
He's playing better, but still not FK levels, and you'd be crazy to say he was. Dan is too individual still, he has the same goals per game as FK (0.91) but almost 0.2 more shots per game for a worse shooting%, and 0.2 less assists per game (0.56
I was this guys 4th sub, and I called he was gonna go viral when all his first 3 vids had less then 20 views, and I think it’s actually happening. To everyone who reads this, remember me and mark my words
Im glad you bring up the weakpoints too instead of full glaze

Honestly didn't used to rate him but yeah he's cracked

Great vid, didn't even realise I was watching for this long. Smooth commentary
people from the UK have real nice commentary idk what it is
it's a 7.5 minute video lollll, stop being all philosophical
Genuinely was so hyped for the next upload. Great stuff and definitely filling a whole in the community
This channel feels like a Rocket League version of Thinking Basketball, keep up the great work!
literally the similarity in quality and style is ridiculous
I love that channel lol shout-out
Holy shit someone else saw it
Yeeep, Im loving it though. I hope this channel makes the thumbnails a lil more unique tho, kinda too similar to Thinking Basketball
streets need a Dralii video, good work as usual

Ayy keep it up man your content is well developed and I believe you’ll go far as long as you’re consistent
Wow, I've not been following the pro scene lately but I'm glad to see Daniel has improved!
Nice new(?) channel! Dark(?) would be nice next!

can you make one for Monkey Moon? He has very unique playstyle.
Insightful analysis tbh.
Hi, i only watch eu rocket league and i a ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED BY THIS GUY. He is literally the smoothest player in the air and by far. great video too
I only watch eu too, Dan is super fun to watch
Wait till you watch OCE
@@JP30thso we can see platinums?

Probably just a replay bug. The boost is always bugged in replays.
The first half of the video is how I think I would play if I was a god at mechs, the second half is how I would actually play lol
this is so nice to watch pls keep going with more of these
really good content!
Man great video. Can you make one about Vatira and why he’s so good? Or on how special Joyo is for the pro scene? Or even Atow tbh.
he did vatira alrdy
Commutator next?
Wow, very well said dude
great vid, we need one for itachi
It's funny you talk about how G2 hasn't been able to mesh defensively, and you are correct, and yet they are still the number one defense in North America 😅
Defense is unamerican, that's why we always have our military in other people's countries lol
I mean the thing about this is that they are the best defense itw actually
another well done video

Daniel vs zen?
Please do a video on itachi
I'll save you 7:48 of time.
The answer is he's playing goated.
great video
Firstkiller next?
great vid
Personally I think Daniel has the best aerial control in the world and is a top 5 player in the world, maybe even top 3
this started so good.... XD
i hate how you say he doesnt get his landing right at 1:15 when he literally did that on purpose to dodge a demo
idk if you are joking but spinning 180 degree with your back facing the ball so you have to preflip to catch the ball midair without anyone challenging and dunking you isn't a common way of dodging a demo.

Daniel is the zen of NA but like a step or two down from him
So not the zen of NA then
Average EU player
dani deserved this one!!! 🤍
