The paint was a generic black paint I got from Builders, in a satin finish I think the brand was Duram, but you can use any black paint, the guys at builders will also guide you if you tell them what you'd like to paint. I moved out of the apartment but I had the tiles there for close to 3 months and they were still in good condition.
