"Anything can happen with cars, at anytime". That's certainly true when you're driving Land Rover/Range Rover vehicles! That's why they are constantly at the bottom of reliability surveys. Glad you got paid!
"Been there , done that!" T.P. drivers rarely get any gratitude from either bosses or Customers. (except on rare occasion's) Did it for a year, all types, all classes of vehicles. Pay was crap, hours extensive. Never again.
Did what you are doing a few years ago. The biggest con job going. Only got paid for miles using their mapping system. Any deviation was at ur expense. Gotoaned at if you came back with more than 1/4 tank of fuel. Which they then syphoned out. Unrealistic time frames plus lots more 😢😢😢
Hope you had a great birthday after all of that Jennifer. The suggestion of potentially not getting paid for the return journey would have infuriated me. You're still doing a job there in returning it to the dealers after the customer declined.
All that effort only to have to drive back again. These things happen, but with a Land Rover it is a lot more likely. Hope you got some rest and enjoyed the rest of the weekend.
I used to do this years ago, but was a dealer employee. I remember one of the cars (a high-end Ford Sierra!) that was refused by a customer in Southend because of a small scratch. When I got it back to Manchester, all it took was ten seconds of polishing with T-Cut to make it right!
@@jenniferwinters The other one that readily comes to mind is the Ford Granada with a completely flat battery in Liverpool. Not usually a major deal, but it was rush hour and it was so flat that just the brake lights coming on were almost making it cut out. So I had to drive through about 3-4 miles of literally stop-start traffic using the hand brake only with an auto box!
I didn't even know of this occupation, interesting.. im just wondering though, what's the main differences between the female trade plate drivers' day and the male trade plate drivers' day? Cheers
Hey there, thanks for watching :) The main reason for including the emphasis on 'female' is that firstly, its typically a very male dominated job (I had only ever met 1 other female TP driver in 2 years) and also, it helps with the algorithm so if other women search my videos looking to do TP driving they will find my content. I also have experienced differential treatment on occasion as a female in this industry so I hope that answers your question :)
went for an interview with BOC got the job but when they told I had pay for insurance and it was up to me to get back I said sod that, this job is con.
In a Land Rover ! How strange that an engine light being on 😂😂😂😂😂!!!! The Range Rover dealer all but warn you to go buy anything else because they are fed up with people returning the dam things 🤣🤪🤷♂️
It actually wasn't an official Range Rover dealership, it was a used car dealership and I've moved a couple of cars that I felt were a bit sketchy from them so I wasn't really surprised, this was the final straw so I refuse to deliver for them now
@@Neil-pv8pw “she” didn’t curb it, if I did do you really think I’d be posting about it on TH-cam. It was a crappy piece of rubber trim that was glued on to ‘protect’ the rims - done by an unsavoury garage with a less than reputable name. Thanks for the assumption though 👍🏻

It's a TATA ..got it ..INDIAN ..yes TATA ..suprisingly it broke down , it's those cable ties they use, you should know that by now ....
If you want reliability, drive a Toyota or a Honda.
Another good watch, keep em coming Jennifer 👍🏻

Those are stick on rim protectors, and are a rubbish cheap alternative to Alloygators which fit into the bead.
