Arduino - All You Need To Know

  • There are several tools that are critical if you want to be a Tinkerer, but one of the best tools in terms of electronic tinkering is the Arduino. The Arduino is a device that lets you control other electronics and components. You can program the Arduino to tell the components what to do. So you can control lights, motors, sensors, speakers, and tons of other stuff. I could write you a book explaining all the wonders of Arduino, but why do that when I've already made a video??? Stop reading and watch it! Now!!!

The audio of this video is weird. The volume of audio is changing sometimes.

I'm glad to see my comment on the scratchy writing aesthetic's been taken on board, or at the very least subconsciously acknowledged if it wasn't intentional this time around, now that more of the text was "written" with more solid penmanship. As for the humour others have commented on, I think it's on-brand and yet another part of the channel, and helps to make the video stick in your brain a bit more! It did juxtapose with the rest of the video though, seeing as the microcontroller splatter was the only one that stuck out while the other bits, like the grandma comment, flowed with the rest of the script much more smoothly.
Regarding the actual content itself, this taught me things about Arduinos that I didn't know already, such as how it only started out as a software platform before coming what it is today, and I love to tinker with this kind of tech whenever I can! It's super concise, which is good for beginners, and while I wanna say that a little bit more depth might be good, I'm not entirely sure on what else you could've covered, so take that particular bit of critique how you wish.

I like this one. Great animation (what are you using for graphics/animation? ). Six minutes, done and done. The truly curious viewers will use their search engine of choice to look up more details about Arduino cards, or why the resistor was used, power sources... A whole new world to explore. This video plants the seed.

I once picked up an ardruino for the purpose of updating the firmware of my 3d printer. The instructions essentially had me turn the ardrino into a programmer for the board. It installed a new bootloader on the printer board and turned it into an Arduino compatable board. Now my printer has essential saftey features that shut off the machine when things get to hot. I think the arduino cost around $5

goodBean!!! nice to have your comments again! The Arduino boards that cost around $5 are generally clones that aren't really produced by the Arduino group.

I know you are simplifying it all but you said micro controller and yet put up on the screen micro processor which as you know are not exactly the same thing (they often are similar but may not be).

I hope you enjoy reading my comment as much as I have enjoyed writing it. It's not an interesting comment, but I'm pretty certain you have read the comment up to this point, so you may as well just keep reading right down to the end.
